Roman Jimenez is a liar and a con. He preys on people and when you no longer serve his needs he either tosses you aside or worse, he turns against you, trashes you, and says false things to tarnish your image. He’s a classic sociopathic narcissist. Case in point is an article he wrote about Latham Staples, my former boss, and the company we worked for. Roman’s "big bombshell story” though is mostly incoherent and at best it seems to be an attempt to throw out each rumor he’s ever heard or lie he wishes to spread about Mr. Staples, based on "numerous anonymous sources”. That’s funny, because I was a part of the company, looked forward to it taking off as we were nearing our product launch. No one ever called me. My colleagues stated they were never called. Investors who we’ve become close to stated they were never called. And our chairman, George Schwartz, stated he called Ken Williams (former editor at SDGLN who resigned) and Roman, and he emailed them both, telling them the information they were pursuing wasn’t factual. It’s clear Roman seized on an opportunity when Mr. Staples and his ex split up and Roman used the animosity of Thomas Guerra (Mr. Staples’ ex), and a former business partner, John Macoviak, who the shareholders had ousted by a unanimous vote, to gather information, whether false or not, to harm Mr. Staples and the company. Mr. Staples by the way won his restraining order against Thomas, he won his other cases, and in a separate criminal trial, after the SDGLN story was published, Thomas was convicted and sent to prison for his other crimes. So maybe you shouldn’t have taken the word of a convict if you truly care about reporting the truth! Because of your shoddy and unethical "reporting” we’ve all been contacted by detectives, the city attorney and personal attorneys. All because Roman Jimenez chose to be vindictive and spread the lies of others. Eleven of us signed court declarations that the information in Roman’s SDGLN piece isn’t factual. The company conducted two financial audits (one internal by the board of directors, one external audit conducted by a Fortune 100 CEO), both found Mr. Staples had acted appropriately and that he wasn’t engaging in the unethical behavior as Roman had claimed in the article and as having been spread by Mr. Staples’ ex who is now in prison and his friends. Roman also "quoted” a business partner of ours, Dr. Young at University of California Health System. She says no one from SDGLN ever called her and she wouldn’t have given the quote that is attributed to her as it’s not factual. This Roman guy is a real piece of work. By the way, the executive team offered via email for Roman and Ken Williams to review the company’s financials, though neither replied to the offer. By the way, a true journalist would have spoken to all sides to gather the facts so as to report the most accurate story. By not doing so you not only harmed Mr. Staples but all the rest of us who lost our future opportunity with the company due to the false reporting. Mr. Staples idea was also something that would have helped countless people and its a shame that you’ve destroyed that. Roman Jimenez and Ken Williams both should be ashamed of themselves for publishing grossly false information. It tells me that SDGLN isn’t a reputable news source and they don’t care about reporting the facts.

I worked with Mr. Staples at EXUSMED. And I'm appalled at the damage Roman Jimenez, SDGLN, Johnathan Hale, Lisa Kove, Mary Margaret Finley, and Brooke Sullivan caused to our company and to Mr. Staples - all based on the lies of Thomas Guerra.

This email I think sheds even more light on what all happened: https://dochub.com/skent2140/lKga9l/loralee-gunter-email-to-journalist-about-andrew-staples

And, btw. Those who spread the lies:

- Thomas Guerra - Convict

- Brooke Michelle Sullivan - Convict

- Johnathan Hale - Felon for theft and attacking someone (just google his name)

- Roman Jimenez - Felon, for theft from his previous employer.

- Lisa Kove - Committed Insurance Fraud by claiming a house fire was accidental though her son admitted to starting the fire on purpose, that which she also told us all too.

I agree, but the story is even worse as Roman Jimenez worked as a team with others to hurt people.

Roman Jimenez is a con artist and a liar. He manipulates people and has harmed many. But it's not just Roman Jimenez but his group of goons (Johnathan Hale, Thomas Guerra, John Macoviak and Lisa Kove) who trash people, use their positions of power and influence to hurt people they don't like.

I've included a synopsis here of what they all did to our company and the person leading it. You all should be shamed of yourselves!!!

Court documents don’t lie

Many have testified that Roman Jimenez lied in the SDGLN article. Emails and texts prove Roman’s other claims as not factual. Btw, we’ve had it Roman. Keep coming after good people and we will keep coming after you. Did people realize Roman Jimenez spent time in prison as well, for corporate theft. Priceless given that this is what you accuse others off. Oh, and btw, it’s common knowledge that journalists should disclose any conflicts. Guess Roman you forgot to diaclose that you are best friends with Latham’s ex and that he even lived with you briefly. Yeah...absolutely no bias! What a joke you are.

All of those who testified in court stated Roman and SDGLN lied. Just look up all of the court documents. Mr. Staples won each case btw.
