RODAN FIELDS.. Bought couple products to try them. Said it would be 220 but once received the rep added a $20 Preferred customer fee which I kne nothing about so total was &250. The products were terrible and did not do what was explained to me. Then couple weeks later received an email stating that I would be receiving another shipment in 2 weeks that would have been charged to my credit card. So the rep signed me up with monthly shipping of the same products WHICH I KNEW NOTHING ABOUT. Then tried calling RODAN Fields to cancel but was on hold for 20 minutes so hung up. Then I called my credit card company to cancel my card so I would not receive anymore products. Contacted the rep whom I bought from. She said oh well you can just send them back no worries have great return policy. Really?? So I am suppose to drive to post office and pay $12 dollars to ship back and wait couple weeks to get my money back (read many sites some don't get money back and lots of complaints of RODAN fields telling them they never received it and I suppose to wait on the phone for them for over 20 minutes for something I never ordered it wanted in the first place So I am boxing up what I have cause it only been month and sending it back and I will report how the process goes. So anyone who orderes better make sure that you are not set up on reoccurring monthly deliveries without telling customer first. Also resesrch the net. They have thousands of complaints. Also found out RODAN fields first started to sell these products in store but no success so now use Pyramid scheme for others to sell. Rep get points for signing up people on preferred customer ( ding she signed me up without telling me). Get points for recruiting others to sell for her ( ding pyramid scheme ). Whole process is scam and shady practice. Like I said I am returning it and after a week if I do not get my money back I will file dispute with my credit card company cause I have all emails verifying to cancel, sending back etc. beware. Going back to my Neostrata products which I buy at Sephora and these products ARE sold in local dermatologist doctors office.

Just wanted to clarify few things

Consultants are required to tell you about the one time $20 charge in order to take advantage of the discounts and other free/promotional products. It would be silly to not say anything knowing you will see the charge. Ordering many products or a skin regimen which sounds like it must have cost more at retail cost than the preferred customer price plus $20, so going the PC route would have saved you more money in the end.  And it's to take advantage of the free shipping.  You are paying for a membership like Amazon but only one time charge, not yearly.

Consultants dont get points. They get paid commission on all sales whether you are a preferred customer or pay full price as a retail if you don't join.  AND they dont get paid commission on the extra $20 charge. So your consultant wasnt trying to pull a fast one on you.

Products are sent out every 60 days which about how long most folks will see dramatic changes in thier skin, NOT 30. Return policy coinsides with that as well. 60 days money back guaranteed if not satisfied. Now some folks see changes sooner others round two or three are needed depending on how much damage thier skin has. AND if they use the products as directed of course which is twice a day every day. Many think they are going to see change using it once a day or skip a few days. Like working out/diets.. you have to be consistant.  It's possible maybe the regimen was not right for you or didnt use it properly.

R+F sold in stores and saw the potential. Originally sold it to estee lauder and regretted it and bought it back from them and wanted to sell in a different innovative way that will give back to others. and that is to help families create a second stream of income or make it thier first income as they grow. These drs are ahead of their time and take risks just like they sold Proactive via infomercials. They saw ecommerce was the direction everyone was heading and social media. And because of that the company has taken off. They still teach and have their derm practice in Calif. So it's not like they NEED $, they are doing this to give back to others to help themselves, to have thier own mini company.

Currently R+F is #1 beating Estee Lauder and Clinique and the rest AND have expanded to two countries and will continue to grow. They are not a scam company.

Sorry maybe you had a bad consultant or bad experience being on hold for "20 min" you are very patient for actually sitting there waiting that long.

Your consultant could have offered to pay you the return postage or return it for you and all Post offices give tracking numbers on rcpts.  Consultants give personalized assistance, you should have asked her to take care of it for you. Again sorry for your lousy experience but truth is products do work if you use them right.
