Rock Solid funding or www.financemytrailer.com is a fraud and ripoff of credit information. They are miss leading from website to unprofessional customer service agents. I was refered to them from a ca based trailer co but was advised to go with my own copany. Against their advise I did so on there website reading fine print and felt confident I was credit worthy. Once they ran it they said they need co signer with a house or car for 2yr all for 5k. I asked why they said becuase thats what the underwriters need. I then explained thats important information before customers give out info leading to there credit score demise. Rock soil exlplained it would only go down 1-5 points. I said unacceptiable and why wasnt it on the website before I or anyone would fill out app? I was explained that they will take that into consideration to have the website updated with that info. So I then get the cosigner and like good old fashion was denied for things not even on my report. A great waite of time, and score.

Let me begin by saying that the point of this rebuttal is not to attack, criticize, or belittle Z Hoover in any way. The frustration exhibited by Hoover is understandable given the outcome of Hoover's request.
As a finance company, Rock Solid Funding is in a unique position. It goes without saying that not every customer will be approved for financing; it comes with the territory. Whereas most service companies can fulfill every customer's wishes, financing companies occasionally cannot. This allows for a greater number of unsatisfied customers. Legally, the only thing we can do in the occasion of an unapproved customer is let him or her know they will receive a letter from the bank explaining their decision. However, we can control how we communicate this information and it is our policy at Rock Solid Funding to treat every customer with the utmost respect and appreciation.
In regards to Hoover's concern about us requiring a co-signer:
Rock Solid Funding has a reputation for fighting for our clients until we get an approval or until all possibilities are exhausted. When we cannot get a customer approved, we allow them to provide a co-signer to re-open the possibility of achieving an approval. This is common practice in the finance industry. Having a co-signer is certainly not a requirement. It's simply an option for clients whom cannot get approved on their own credit.
We are truly disappointed that this matter could not be resolved before Z. Hoover felt the need to attack us publicly. However, this permanent record has been created and we hope that any reader will take our rebuttal into consideration while choosing a finance company.
