I enrolled in Road Master Tampa for class A CDL and was told by Don Ratliff recruiter in Brooksville that dont worry about tuition the carrier you are employed with will give me a check each month for tuitition and i would not be able to go to school unless they "ROADMASTER" could not get me a job. I was reassured by Tonya their human resource manager the same thing. After 3 weeks of being enrolled i recieved a phone call that the credit application they told me to fill out which was not supposed to matter and my tuition would not be a problem was not accepted and that i needed to come up with 1500 dollars out of pocket or find a cosigner because i was now responsible for tuition and i would have to pay every month 150 to 250 dollars and that a carrier MAY give me a check towards my student loan but not guarenteed. I spoke with theese people numerous times as did my wife and we kept asking is for real whats the catch and were reassured by Don Ratliff at the Brooksville office not to worry everything would be taken care of "not the case". I had to withdraw from the school and demanded my 250 dollars i gave them to start this process, and was told by Tonya the HR driector that no promises were made about anything and to bad for me. On Roadmasters web site it clearly says JOB placement, all they do is give you applications to fill out which you can do on your own from your home computer.  I was told numerous times not to worry about tuition now they want 6500.00 dollars from me to finish my training "not happening" i will find a 3rd party testing facility and get endorsed that way, i wasted 250 dollars out of pocket 180 dollars in all the gas i wasted getting down there wasted 3 weeks going to a school that  knew the whole time what they were going to do. If i could afford 6500.00 dollars for tuition why would i fill out financial aid papers if my credit score was to low and i needed a cosigner why did the school wait 3 weeks to inform me to me that is deceptive and not an honorable trait. I looked into this further and found countless other victims all over the country and the complaint was the same. Deceptive recruiting practices, false claims of companies paying your tuition, job placement and in some case people selling their cars and other belongings because Roadmaster told them they could withdraw but still owed the money. They will get nothing from me and i welcome any lawsuit they bring fourth. I contacted  channel 8 news here in Tampa 8 on your side i also posted on as many sites as i could find with the hopes that Road Disaster trucking school will be stopped of their deceptive and fraudulent business practices.
