Ricks Auto Sales Kelso Washington Ricks Auto Sales Sold Unsafe DODGE 3500 Dually Kelso Washington
On January 12, 2018 My wife and I purchased a used truck for our small toing company. I want to be completely transparent by saying I did purchase this vehicle without driving it ! I based the decision to purchase the truck on the representation that it wqas a local truck and it was ready to go to work.
On our drive home to Oregon and about two miles from the dealer the ABS / Brake warning lights came on and the brake pedal became very stiff.
Because it was gewtting late i did not return to the dealer. the next day I took the truck to Les Schwab in Gresham Oregon and was told by the Brake and alignment center that the truck was unsafe to operate because it appeared that the front right caliper was not working for some reason.
I then took the truck to Hi Torque performance to a ASE master Tech and he advised me that without complete diagnoses and repair that the truck is unsafe to operate.
I contacted Ricks Auto Sales and spoke with both Angela and Mike. Mike was laughing that the trucks brakes are unsafe and claimed that he drove the truck a number of times and it was fine. I am not sure if he thinks that this funny or if he has not business dealing with unsatisfied customers.
In a nut shell I would not recommend this deler to ANYONE !!!
COME ON MIKE IT IS A SAFETY ISSUE THAT IS EXEMPT FROM THE AS IS DISCLOSURE !!!
