ReMax Platinum - Mark Wolter Screwed us as First Time Home Buyers Lied Ignored our calls Wixom Michigan
As first time home buyers we didn't know alot obviously. We picked a Realtor that was right down the street from our Apartment complex. That was our first mistake!!!
Due to some bruised credit issues it was hard to get pre-approval. Mark suggested his financial rep. So we of course called the guy. He would never return our calls. When he did tell us he would call us back within a few minutes, he had Mark do it.
We were screwed out of the washer & dryer, refrigerator, a few others as well. All because our realtor was pussyfooting around. When the closing day finally came it was a NIGHTMARE!!!
We didn't know until one hour before the closing the amount we would need to have for costs and all. THEN, the call us to tell us they are going to do the closing out in Milford instead of Commerce.
At the closing we were informed that we would be put in a A.R.M. Mortgage instead of the 30 year fixed we asked for. We were also informed that our mortgage was not going to be escrowed for our taxes.
Not to mention my mother in law who works for a Title company was not allowed to do our title work for us. We had to pay another person to do that which we could have had done for free!!
We finally closed on the house. Little did we know it wasn't over. We found out that the home warranty our realtor told us he would be purchasing for us was never purchased!!! It was about a month of phone calls from us & family members to finally get that situated and taken care of.
When it was all done, we had a house!! It has already been almost a year since all that mess!!!!!
