Please see my notes regarding this rebate below. I have been fighting with RebatesHQ for SEVERAL months over a $30 rebate. It isn't about the money anymore, it has become a quest. I will NEVER buy a product with a rebate that has to go through this company. The struggle continues...

Promotion: APC Back-UPS Office 350 $30.00 rebate offer

Rebate paper confirmed received on 5/30/01.

1st check supposable printed on 7/16/01, however not mailed to date.

8/22/01: Spoke with customer service rep, Eddie, on 8/22/01. I said no refund has still not been received. Eddie submitted a request for a replacement check to arrive in 20 business days. Agreed to this since he said I needed to give the 1st check, at least 2 more weeks.

10/1/01: Spoke with customer service rep, Sue, on 10/1/01. She said a check would be issued within 5 business days from today (10/1/01).

10/12/01: No refund received to date. Spoke with customer service rep, Marlig, who told me to wait 15-20 business days. Unacceptable answer. Called back and spoke to customer service supervisor, Mike. He only confirmed what Marlig said earlier. Nothing else he could do.

10/18/01: Very frustrated and decided to call back. Spoke to another customer service rep, John. Name said check was never authorized to be sent and he entered some additional information into file and said the check was now authorized to be send as of 10/18/01. John said to wait 10-15 business days from 10/18/01.

11/12/01: Irritated, I called back and spoke to customer service rep, Gigi. She confirmed check was authorized on 10/18/01 for payment, however check was not printed until 10/29/01. Check still has not been sent to date. Gig said to give it ANOTHER 15 days...

11/26/01: Beyond frustration, I called back and spoke to customer service rep, Jose. He said check should arrive by 12/3/01. Asked to speak to supervisor. Spoke to customer service supervisor, Abraham Ventura. He said he would escalate the issue and call me back within 24 hours.

12/4/01: Never received call from Abraham Ventura would said he would call me back on 11/26/01. I spoke to another customer service rep (didn't get name) would said to wait another 15-20 days. I again, asked to speak to customer service supervisor, Abraham Ventura would never returned my call. I was told he was not available and I spoke to another supervisor named Marlene. I explained the situation again in length and demanded payment. Marlene said there was nothing she could do to expedite payment, but it should arrive by 12/16/01. She promised and assured me that the payment would arrive by 12/16/01.

12/11/01: Check never sent. Spoke to Hector and he is going to RE-ISSUE this check again. ANOTHER 15-20 business days.

1/8/02: According to customer service rep, Rosann, the check was sent on January 7th, 2002.

1/16/02: Check was issue on 12/18/01, spoke to customer service rep, John. He said check should be arriving by the end of this week, or next week???
