Complaint Review: Ramon Gomez - Chandler, Mesa, Phoenix, Glendale, Scottsdale Arizona

ORIGINAL Rip-off Report filed::::: I was so upset that the article only appeared in the city of Chandler section of the Arizona Republic. This so called civil rights man Ramon Gomez has been all over the media including the Arizona Republic's Valley & State section. Many Hispanics like myself have contacted Ramn Gomez after reading articles involving Mr. Gomez and seeing him on TV and more recently on a local radio station. Why the article only appeared in the Chandler edition surly must have been an oversight by such an informative news paper.

Recently I sent out a Notice to all Police Chiefs, all Hispanic news papers, radio stations and TV Stations after being victimized by this well known scam artist Ramon Gomez. Below, is the flyer I faxed out to all the above along with the article in the May 10th edition of the Arizona Republic, Chandler Arizona Community Section.

Ask Ramon Gomez some of the following questions.......

How many Hispanic people have you taken $500, $600 and $1,000 fees from and never did anything, for any of them? That's why he always changes his phone numbers! 

Ramon Gomez preys on his own people. For instance, during the rush for immigrants to get their papers in order over the last few weeks, Ramon Gomez was taking big fees for that service, divorces and many other services. Nothing was ever done for these people or any others, ever.

**Ask Ramon Gomez why he is not on Radio Unica 740am in Phoenix anymore.

**Ask Gomez why the president of Arizona Civil Rights Movement resigned.

**Ask Gomez why he has never paid any of his lawyers & other bills.

Ask Gomez to show you where hundreds of thousands of dollars he collected over the last few years went? The monies were never used for the intended purpose. Just cruising the streets, clothing and more perfumes. 

Ramon Gomez also has touted himself as the president and CEO of a consumer web site badbusinessbureau.com. They say he has never been a part of them, ever.

 Ramon Gomez is a fraud. He has helped not one person. Not one. He has nothing more than a big mouth, with a convincing line of bull. He never follows through on anything. Nothing.

Ramon Gomez's gig is to get as much publicity as he can. When the publicity appears, victims needing help will call the newspaper or TV station reporters to get the Gomez phone number. The callers then give out the number to family and friends, giving Ramon Gomez a new cash flow. Ramon Gomez knows these people will never come after him with the law and would never think of taking him to court. Ramon Gomez is the worst kind of human there is to be preying on his own people, the ones who have nothing. Ramon Gomez ripped off my brother and many of his friends. When I read this in the Chandler section of the Arizona Republic, I knew the supporters mentioned in the paper did not know what was going on. We have much respect for the police department, and wanted you to know.

If Ramon Gomez's lips are moving, he is lying!

..just call the reporter from the Arizona Republic. I'm sure the reporter will tell you so much more than what was actually reported in the paper.

I know there is much more than what I have mentioned in this letter that will be reported in news- papers and with that consumer web site badbusinessbureau.com in the weeks to come.

If your department aligns itself with Gomez, this will not only make you all look bad in the near future, but it would be adding to the false credibility and adding fuel to Mr. Ramon Gomez's ruse, providing him even more power.

It is unfortunate that Ramon Gomez could not have been on the level. Our community desperately needs leaders, but not like Mr. Ramon Gomez.

I would have filed this rip-off report under nonprofit organizations but Mr.Gomez was not one. He never was. I was told that they just filed articles of incorporation last week after more than 3 years of collecting hundreds of thousands of dollars, telling the community his organization was nonprofit and was always incorporated. Mr. Gomez is a "civil rights violator" of the worst kind. That's why I filed it here.

There is so much more to tell about this poor excuse for a humanbeing. I will be updating this report. I am a medical student busy with studies and family. I promiss to update this shortly so everyone knows it all.
