Getting screwed by Quest
I am being scam by Qwest
I am a Qwest(Long Distance Company) customer. This month when I got the phone bill I realized that my rate to call Hong Kong had increased from 35 cent to $2.06 cent per minute which is about 589% increase. So I call the company 8 times and complain about their overbilling. However, they said they have a right to change the price without notify the customer and refuse to give my money back (I pay by phone bill by direct deposit). The only way they said I would get my money back is to rejoin their company new plan with the monthly charge of $3, then they may consider rerate my bill. I am very disappointed with their customer service and the way they handle my situation.
Then my co-worker remind me that I can stop the payment by calling the local pone company which I did. And it really work. My local company kick back the payment form Qwest. And I did not need to pay the over charge.

Go to www.fcc.gov and fill out a complaint on Qwest--show them you mean business. The only way to make them accountable is by going to the top. I also urge you to to the Attorney General and the Public Service Commision, which someone else here suggested. DO IT!! They deserve to know you're serious. We shouldn't be treated this way!
