Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I am hoping that this is not too late.  Here is a little about our situation.

My husband and I had our belongings in storage for a little over a yr.  Meantime, the Public Storage place on Rt 29, here in Centreville, VA needed an auction.

They claimed that they had no address for us.  Well they did have our address.  My po box 876 where they sent one letter one time.

This one location was under some pressure from hdqts to have an auction, as they had not had one in a while.  They choose us, because they knew what we had.  What we had was 35 yrs of marriage, and an entire household of belongings and everything involved.

1. Medical Records, from military.

2.  Scrapbooks from just about my entire family.

3.  Entire house of furniture, including my piano, china cabinet, stero systems, record albums piano books and everything just about associated with that.

4.  My husband Colin's dresser, there were the following things.  He had anmo for one of his firearms and I am sure, the person who got the auction, kept all the anmo.  Well the law says, if its not yours, you can't keep it.

This is whats happened as a result of the theft and lies from Public Storage.

My family has just about disowned me, and some won't even speak to me anymore.

We had our entire house in this public storage.

PS lied to get our belongings so they couldl have an auction and keep HDQTS happy.

PS here in centreville, VA pretended that they had no address for us, so they could do the auction.  They lied, as said before, they had my po box, but only used it once.

They took 35 yrs of marriage away from us.  This has terribly affected our relationship.  I spoke about military medical records before.  Most can't be replaced, as I had the original, and this is before, they started keeping records.  So now in trying to get my navyreserve retireent, its going to be tough to get it, but I will get it.

I need something done.

The ONLY reason they would enter a tennants storage unit and auction off what's inside is when the tennant is behind in their rent.  What you're saying is out of the clear, blue sky they decided to pick on you and auction off your belongings and your rent payments were right up to date.  Likely story!
