Progressive Insurance, Progressive Insurance False Advertising and Regression on promise Nationwide
I have been a Progressive customer for about 4 years. Recently I was force off road by road blockage by poorly placed road barrels by construction company.
I hit low road divider and bent car tire rims. I had strut damage as well. I reported this to Progressive. They paid $800.00 for new rims and prorated tires limits. My cost was an additional 1200.00 + deductible.
Progressive increased my rate by $3600.00 a year for this accident they rated as driver fault. I have tried to reason with them. They refused to adjust.
This is the company thay has a TV ad showing a driver hitting a pot hole(“no problem sir your covered") the ad goes on to say. It dose not tell the driver " You are at fault and your insurance will increase 30-40%.
