At Christmas time a bought a discounted voucher to Printerpix.com for a photo to be turned into a personalized jigsaw puzzle.

I intended to use the voucher to purchase a personal puzzle for a February birthday gift.

The website states most puzzles usually arrive within 2-4 weeks.

I had trouble using the website to upload & edit my photo. Customer Service was only somewhat helpful after I explained my problems multiple times. I attempted to use different browsers, change my browser settings, etc. before finally the website began cooperating.

By the time I had finished calling customer service, redoing all of my work on the website multiple times because it kept freezing and or deleting my work, I finally placed my order on 3/4/15. I had already advised the gift recipient that it would be late.

Around 4/21, I realized I'd not received a shipment notification and attempted to contact Printerpix.  The website order status showed 50% completion, but no update on estimated shipping or arrival. I sent customer service an email on Thursday and waited. I'd not received anything more than an auto-reply by Tuesday and tried calling during the business hours printed on the website. The voicemail message stated different hours and although it was the middle of the business day, the message stated the office was closed. I tried calling again an hour later with the same outcome. The following day the same happened and I sent another email. By week's end I had contacted the discount site and was told they could not contact the vendor any other way. I was offered a refund for my trouble as they wanted to ensure I'd purchase future discounts from them.

The following week I'd still heard nothing via email aside from auto responses that told me nothing helpful. After numerous more call attempts, I finally got through to a message asking me to hold for a customer service representative. I waited on hold over 15 minutes and was met with a polite woman who could not help at all except to tell me there had been a backorder on puzzle supplies before Christmas. I explained my order was place 3/4/15 and she seemed surprised the backorder would have affected it, but had no other explanation or advise to offer. She stated that the order should ship before the end of May. She was unable to explain why I'd not been contacted, why the phones were off during business hours, why no one answered my email, or why the order was delayed. She also offered no compensation even once I mentioned I'd never order from them again and that I planned to tell as many people as would listen about the terrible time I'd had.

I'm happy to report the gift did finally arrive, nearly 3 months after it was ordered. The recipient is happy with the quality of the product, but I'm still incredulous at the lack of accuracy, expediency, and customer relations.
