Like everyone else's reports I've seen, I was told that the $187 dollar fee was going to be used as a start-up fee and deposit on a Mastercard. A very courteous, professional woman named Maria took my checking account information and said that I would receive a call from Prime One about a half hour after they confirmed my info with the bank.
She called back and informed me that everything was correct and that I would recieve my Mastercard in 6 to 8 weeks. I called two weeks later to check on the progress of my card. I was informed that I was not going to receive a card, but instead a credit information package along with deals on long distance, roadside assistance, and a free cell phone, none of which were ever mentioned in the call two weeks before.
I'm going to the bank tomorrow to see about refunding the payment, which I doubt is possible. Once I receive the package from Prime One, I'm going to take it to the postal inspector to report mail fraud. I also plan on reporting it to the Better Business Bureau. Does anyone know about any class-action suits pending or won against this company? Please e-mail me if anyone has any info regarding lawsuits. [email protected]
