Medwin Publishers have successfully scammed thousands of people on the internet. I am one of those people who was naïve enough to fall into the trap laid out by the predatory publishers known as Medwin Publishers.

Back in December 2017, I placed an order for a complete collection of encyclopaedias from Medwin Publishers at a discounted rate. Firstly, I was very excited to receive the books since I could not find a better deal on the internet or local shops. I was hoping to buy the books from Medwin Publishers at over 60% discount on the marked price. I had no clue that I was going to face a dead end with these predatory publishers.

The con publishers at the group known as Medwin Publishers promised to deliver the high-quality books to my doorstep within one week. However, they kept me in the loop and wasted my precious time for over 2 months. Eventually, I lost 150 dollars as well as several precious hours to these predatory publishers.

Today I am posting this negative review along with the complaint against these predatory publishers known as Medwin Publishers so that I can spread the awareness. I don’t want anyone else to lose time as well as money just like I did. I hope that this community will look into this fraud so that I can get my money from the predatory publishers as soon as possible.

I chose Medwin Publishers because they offered the cash on delivery service. No other vendor on the internet offered that type of service for the books that I needed. So, I had no choice but to go with the fraud known as Medwin Publishers. After confirming the order, I received a confirmation email from these con publishers almost immediately. The email from Medwin Publishers said that I will receive the books within one week.

So, I patiently waited for one week for Medwin Publishers to deliver the books. However, when I did not hear back from these con publishers for over a week I got concerned. So, I tried calling the Medwin Publishers hotline number mentioned on their website. The call just went ringing and no one picked up. After this, I thought I should check other internet sources to get the books. However, the next day I received a call from Jack at Medwin Publishers. He said that Medwin Publishers did receive the order and that they were processing it.

The order would take one more week to process since the books were in high demand. I told Jack that I needed those books as soon as possible for my child’s project. Here, Jack said that I can make a deposit payment for 150 dollars to get the books early, that is within the next 3 days. The amount shall be balanced against the final cost of the books, which was nearly 700 dollars.

I immediately agreed to the terms proposed by Medwin Publishers since I wanted to help my child with his project and was planning on going on a business trip next week. I had no clue that Medwin Publishers was a big fraud. This was just a tactic used by the predatory publisher to get money out of my pocket.

I completed the 150 dollars payment via my debit card to the Medwin Publishers bank account. I received a confirmation email from Medwin Publishers saying that I need to pay only 550 dollars upon receiving the parcel 3 days later. Medwin Publishers also sent me a link that showed the tracking status of the parcel. I was relieved that I would finally be able to help my child with the completion of his project on time.

However, Medwin Publishers never lived up to their promise. Three days later I still did not receive any parcel from Medwin Publishers. This time I was furious against these predatory publishers. So, I decided to consult with its HQ. Upon searching on Google Maps, I found that there is no entity registered as Medwin Publishers at the given address!

So, I tried calling Medwin Publishers on their hotline number again. I did not receive any response on the phone. So, I tried dropping an email and to my surprise, the email just bounced! Now I was sure that Medwin Publishers scammed me. It was just a big fraud by professional predatory publishers all along. I hope that this negative review is read by more and more people so that they can avoid purchasing books from the fraudsters at Medwin Publishers.

I have also lodged a similar complaint on several other forums so that more and more people can read the negative review against Medwin Publishers and save their precious money as well as time. In the end, I had to pay extra to get the books from a local stationery at a high cost.

When I searched for Medwin Publishers on the internet, I found so many good reviews and almost no complaints. I assume that they have hired ORM experts and content writers to write the fake reviews so that people rely on the fraud at Medwin Publishers. Believe me, the scam run by Medwin Publishers will drive you crazy and hurt you financially.

Do not be fooled by the discounts and attractive prices shown by Medwin Publishers. I am sure that they run their business under a false identity just to loot people of their hard-earned money. I urge you to share this negative review and complaint against Medwin Publishers so that more and more people can avoid the scam.

Medwin Publishers will just line up a series of fake promises and good names to loop you into a spiral of money. The other one review I read suggested that the con publishers had affected the author community too. These con publishers betrayed one author and published his book with the wrong credits. Currently, these predatory publishers are facing several lawsuits and still operating as one of the biggest con publishers on the internet thanks to the gullible audience like me.
