Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had my vehicle towed in ( against the advice of the tow truck driver who said they have had alot of complaints about this shop) would not start, before The vehicle was not even off the truck and the owner Ken (not his real name I found out his real name is Karim from Pakistan enough said) walk up and said its probably needs a motor, I thougt he was kidding. I got a ride to work thinking it was something simple to fix,I did not even get to work when Ken called to tell me he had some bad news my vehicle did need a motor and the cost would be 3k to 6k , I told him about my extended warranty he laughed and said warranty do not cover motors, I told him I needed to call the place I bought the vehicle from and would call him back. Before I could call the dealership, Ken called and said he could put me on a payment plan which I thought was strange I declined and told him the tow truck was going to pickup my vehicle and take it to the dealership(he laughed). Later on that day the dealership called and told me the only problem was the battery was bad 185.00 dollars later I had my car back (far cry from 6k). The Sales Manager from the dealership told me this shop(Precision Tune) does that scam all the time and cannot figure how they are still in business. I check with the BAR of CAL they have numerous complaints and even have been shut down for violations before and are on there radar and hopes to shut them down for good. I WONDER HOW MANY TIMES THIS HAD WORKED I BET ALOT  BEWARE!!!!!!    I checked with the courts Precision Tune El Cajon has many cases pending

I've been going here for years. I'll say that there's a noise or something funny with my car, or a service light is on or something, and they'll say, it's just time for an oil change, that's why the light is on, or you brakes are fine, but your tires are thread bare - and then they show me ... I've never experienced any level of dishonesty, they all try to up-sell, but then again, I'm not prejudiced. Your judgmental behavior might be costing you money everywhere!

I have been in business for 14 years in the City of El Cajon and have been a positive and productive member of the community since opening for business. As a business owner in El Cajon I have been aired on various news stations that have commended my shop and the work performed here. I have also been involved in many community service projects such as Operation Home Front, which helps the families of those who are in the military. In addition, I have been donating to The San Diego Food bank to help those in need during these rough times. I am also an accredited business with the Better Business Bureau. Please contact me with a receipt or proof that this incident took place at my place of business and I will refund any service provided that day. Thank you.
