Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I will start in June of this year (2002). I called Voicestream to say that I wanted to cancel my service, due to the fact that I had just been married, my husband was in graduate school, I was moving to a different state to be with him, and I had no job as of then. The CSR said that he could offer me a $90 credit that would pay for all of June, July, and all but $20 in August.

I say, 'sure, why not'. I was sure I would have a job by then (which I did).

So I get a bill in August (for the month of July) and the bill is around $65. I call a CSR, and she says that the overcharge is a result of over $100 worth of minutes (over my 800 min/month!) for the months of March and April that just never happened to show up on my bill.

When I told her that I hadn't been sent any record of those individual calls and requested those specific charges in writing, she got very confused about why I wanted to have them. I told her I did not intend on paying for minutes that I am quite sure I never used, and I said that I wanted new copies of my March and April bill that INCLUDED those extra minutes. She said she would send that out. I never recieved them.

I called again and talked to a very nice CSR who said that HE would send it out. By this time, my bill was due, and so I went and paid the money that was due for the month of August, hoping that some kind of payment would prevent them from reporting delinquent payment to the credit services. Unfortunately, due to my paranoia about my credit score, I paid it off, and have yet to see a bill for those minutes.

In another instance, in late September I realized that my bill was coming up and I hadn't recieved a bill, so I went online and downloaded what I thought was what I owed, which was $33.83. This month (late October) I get a bill for $67.33, stating that I have a past due balance of 30 some odd dollars. I go online and

check, and THIS statement says that my last balance was $64.58, NOT the $33.83 that my September statement said.

The CSR I called about this was uncomfortable with this discrepancy, especially since I pointed out the fact that the ONLINE bill was $1 less than my mailed bill. She called tech services, who told her that they were 'updating' the website and that is why the website was off.

Now my question is: how long does it take to update a website, because it sure as christmas was way off last month too! So now I am going to end up paying $70 when I should be paying $36.58!
