I have sent my miles in for over 3 yrs and have not gotten a response back... EVER... this year I have over 20,000 mils to redeem and if the future is anything like the past i guess marlboro is going to bend me over AGAIN!!!

I don't know what is being done about this, if anything is, but I would just like for Philip Morris to know that I have been faithful smoker of Marlboro Reds for 8 years and I feel that I have been cheated by the company.

I have contacted the Postal service and have went through 4 different investigations and there are at least 2 of the Philip Morris customer service reps that know me by name . I have exhausted everything I know to do and am seriously considering contacting a lawyer . I will post any developments here so you all know what is happening .

It Doesn't Matter

It doesn't matter what you write on the envelope. Someone at the post just might slice open the package, steal whatever is inside, reseal it and deliver it to your customer. Send it UPS or FedEx.

Have you tried to do anything at all?

You didn't say if you've done anything to try and remedy the situation. Did you try calling them? Sending them a letter? Are you even sure you are sending them to the right place? If you are going to send in your miles again, I would suggest a couple things. Call first. Ensure that you are sending them correctly, that the program is still running etc. Get delivery confirmation. For fifty cents or thereabouts, you can have the post office verify the delivery. If postal workers are stealing your miles, then this will prove that the miles never get delivered. If you call the post office to inquire, you might be able to get an investigation. Postal inspectors are the gods of the post office. If the miles are making it, then you can go from there. Call phillip-morris and find out what's happening. Do something, instead of bending over and taking it.

I read somewhere (possibly this site) that if you write on the envelope "marlboro miles" or any such thing, postal workers will steal your envelope and redeem your miles for themselves. Makes sense to me as to where the miles disappear to. I have no better solution to suggest on how to get them there for redemption, but maybe contacting the cigarette company about it would help.
