PepBoys ripoff abused & mistreated con artist fake ripoff Miami Florida
I went in to PepBoy on August 6, 2003, to have my brakes fixes. They did a test drive, to find out, I needed new brakes. The guy Vazquez(mechanic) took off the wheel and seen that I also need new rotors. Well they didn't have the part according to the writer(Victor). Who couldn't speak or understand english. The guy put the wheels back on and I went to the Auto Zone to buy the rotors. When I get back to their suprise, they don't have the brakes pads, so I had to get the most expensive pads, cause that's all they had.
I ask how long it would take, the mechnic stated about 20 minutes. I walk over to KFC which is across from Pepboys. About 15 till 20 minutes later I walk back and my car is still in the air. The guy who is there who speak English stated that I need to leave my car over night cause I now need a new calipers, and they don't have that, they don't know how much the part is going to cost or when my car would be ready.
When I brought my car in it wasn't and have never leak brake fluid.Well now here come the errogant p***k manager, with the world worst customer service I have ever seen.I stated to them, how did the calipers break ? I was told it was due to pressure. They got in a circle and started speaking spanish and said that I had to leave the car overnight. I ask that they put my car back the same way I brought it in. I was told by the manager, that I couldn't take my car home.
Finally after not giving it to their bull, I call a tow truck and took my car home.
I call the region manager twice, to try to get my car repaired and make a complaint and still no answer from the manager or region manager
