Complaint Review: PapersHelm - Internet

I paid a lot of money to have a paper written for me within a day. What I got back wasn't even on the topic I requested at all. After 4 days and many revisions, the final one was on topic, but it was almost completely plagiarized - straight from a single article. After going back and forth with them and their 'customer service', they refused to refund anything because it is not their policy to return after the paper has been assigned to a writer. All they offered is 60% off my next purchase. Even if the paper returned makes no sense and is plagiarized, they will not give you any money back. So that "guarantee to be 100% plagiarism-free" is a lie to get your money for the lowest quality work that will get you in trouble.

The paper itself looks and sounds as if a 3rd grader wrote it. Even after paying extra to have it double-checked (which doesn't happen, it's just a way to get more money for nothing in return), it was still horrible. It would be absolutely humiliating for an educated person to read through the paper they wrote me. Here is an example from the final paper I received: 

...has tried to present that how can a woman control her fame. Ann who was now publically acknowledged has to make a difficult choice. The final choice was to reject the reward and choosing the responsibility of her husband and daughter. The temperament of the protagonist is remarkable. She was ready to bear the agony of spirit by choosing her family and sacrificing her dreams. Once again, Ann is presented as a symbol of new woman. As an independent woman, she could have stood on her own but the love for a daughter and the care for husband kept her to do so. This was a wise, tough and best decision for a woman living in the circumstances of the 1920s.

The entire paper looks like this one paragraph. It doesn't make sense and the grammar is atrocious. If you speak with their customer service at all (on the phone, over their chat system, emails, ect), you will notice that none of them speak proper English. It's obvious that no one who works at Papershelm speaks English as their first language. This would be fine if they didn't run an English-language based writing business. Even the positive comments you see on other websites like SiteJabber follow this same language flow, which makes me believe that these comments are written by people at Papershelm. The negative comments seem to all have the same experiences and you will too if you just talk to their customer service. 

I have an open case with PayPal to get my money refunded, but PayPal said papers and writings of any sort will most likely not be covered by their buyer protection. 

No matter how desperate you are to get that paper written, DO NOT go through Papershelm. Doing it yourself is the best option, but if you really can't, look for a private writer or do some research and go through a more credible company. If you have any doubts about it, most likely they are scammers like Papershelm. I ended up writing the paper myself because I couldn't even salvage what they gave me. So I lost time, money, and academic points by going through Papershelm.

Don't get ripped off by Papershelm like I did. Find another option to get your work done.
