Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

I have never ordered from Papa John's until today, August 27th, 2018; I will never order again from Papa John's after the tremendous level of difficulty placed on me & stress on my wife by your unscrupulous night manager "James" and employees @ your location, 7001 N. Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale Arizona. Customer Harassment by Papa John's Manager "James" and employees @ branch # 4732 in Scottsdale, Arizona. Police being contacted and criminal complaint being filed.

Manager of this location first screwed up our order, refused to remedy (hanging up repeatedly, making insults, etc), then trashed our property late at night. I am disabled and have resided in Scottsdale since 1990. I currently care for my wife who was seriously injured several week ago that required surgery, and now, around the clock care. The Manager "James" knowing this, took full advantage of our situation, insulting us, overcharging us, and even engaging in criminal behavior.

My wife and I were completely professional, and tipped a total of $8 on a $16 order, as we know the difficulties it is for these employees to make a living.   It started when my wife ordered 2 pizzas, online; one was pepperoni, the 2nd was a mix of vegetables. The order was placed online @ 8:42pm; for some reason the order didn't take, so she contacted the manager "James"; @ store 4732 in Scottsdale; I listened as she gave him the order, paid him over the phone and added a tip of $3 for the driver.

Oddly enough, it shows James entered the order @ 8:48pm, and the "out time" was 9:01pm (13 minutes of cooking time?). But the order didn't arrive until 9:32pm, even though the drive time is less than 5 minutes to our home; pretty odd. However, I thanked your driver & tipped another $5. A total of $16 + $8 in tips. The driver was contemptuous and weird. The boxes were marked correctly, consistent with our order; however, upon opening, I saw that 1 pizza was just plain cheese, the other was cheese with hardly any vegetables, and cold.

I called and spoke to the Manager "James", who had the balls to say my wife ordered wrong & hung up on me; I called back and James hung up again; I called back and there was no answer. I waited 20 minutes, called again & still there was no answer. I took the inedible pizza and threw it in the trash and stop payment on the charge.

Later that night I took out the trash for pick up the following day; to my surprise and shock, there were pizza slices, crust, sauce, and toppings and 2 Papa John's pizza boxes strewn all over my wife's SUV, our driveway, our front lawn, my front door, windows and everywhere; the Balls of this Manager James!! What the hell!

I am presently contacting the Scottsdale Police Dept., filing a complaint for criminal trespassing, property damage, auto damage, and provide them with the video, which includes pictures of the employees, their vehicles and chronology & recorded conversations with "James". I also will be filing a criminal complaint with the Arizona Attorney General's Office tomorrow as well. The insanity & revengeful attitude of this Branch Manager "James", the boldness employees, and the ballsiness of this criminal behavior is not only stupid, but libelous. And all because this Manager "James" cannot admit he made a mistake and refuse to make good. And over a $16 order!

I feel completely stupid for being nice to these people and for tipping them. Once the branch manager "James" and your other employees are prosecuted, I will be retaining counsel to assess how I will be pursuing Papa Johns, and each employee individually for its criminal actions, as well as the distress it has caused my wife, and myself. This was so unnecessary, unprofessional and immature. And over $16 and a simple error made by a Papa Johns manager?

The receipt even shows that your Manager "James" got my wife's name wrong; he entered "Carol" on the receipt; her name is "Sara. How did he get the credit card to process?  I further want to state that, should "James" or any of your employees enter my home or property, I will contact the police and have them arrested or defend myself and my family, as I feel necessary.   You can be certain that this will gain maximum public exposure as to make the public aware of your employee's conduct.

To say the least I am very upset about this, and will pursue this matter relentlessly until I am 100% satisfied and made whole monetarily for the order and more importantly the emotional damage placed on my wife. So unnecessary. I will never patronize this company again, and they will never forget me as I will drag this matter out in criminal and civil litigation until I feel they have been prosecuted to the letter of the law! I would normally never waste my time or effort on this, but this "child" manager James, has serious issues, and obvious influence over the employees, to the point where they collectively engage in dangerous behavior over very miniscule matters.

Worse, this person cannot admit his mistakes & retaliates on apparently anyone who does, even the customers who provide this living. Hopefully when he and his fellow employees are prosecuted they will be ordered to professional, long term counseling, as this is a disaster in the making and this guy will end up hurting or killing someone.
