If you ever considered using Packet 8 (or 8X8 as they refer to themsleves now), do yourself a favor, and go elsewhere....I have never had so many issues over one problem, in my life! I dont even know where to start...first it started with what i thought was my actualy phone. Clients would tell me I'd sound "robotic", or the call would go "in and out". After calling 8x8's brilliant customer service, and after 3 phones (Phone Model ST2118), they (8x8) figured out that it was a little black router that 8x8 provides for the phone. Well guess what??? After i replaced the router, i still had the same issues. So what do I do? I call that great 8x8 customer service, and what do they tell me once I get a rep on the phone, "Sorry for the inconv....blah, blah, blah, we'll send you another phone".

Well clearly 8x8 doesn't have the smartest people working there, because 3 days later, i get this $400 upgrade phone in Los Angeles, that I never asked for. AND my business partner in Chicago received another ST2118 (who now has to ship it to me). Anyways, I get this "upgraded phone", hoping and praying it's the savior to my phone troubles....LOL not at all....if anything it's added more....Once i called 8x8 to "upgrade" this phone, Orlando (the rep at 8x8) says "nomally we would charge you for this upgrade, but I guess you just scored with the phone, I'll make sure to not charge you the upgrade" I'm thinking sweet! This phone model 6757i CT, is the biggest piece of junk that I have ever held in my hands! Problems you ask????

Well I can only finish 1 our of every 3 calls. To make an outbound call, it takes about a minute for the phone to register the number dialing, and then it dials out. Also, because of this supposed free "upgrade" now i have to buy a completely different router for my internet, because guess what....the 8x8 rep (Josh) told me that Linksys is not compatible with the new phone, so until i get a D-link router (which i ordered for $116), i can expect to have the same issues...Wow what a free upgrade.....by the way, one of my employees has a Linksys router, and it woks just fine....

Thank you Packet 8 or 8x8, and Contactual for withdrawing you funds every month on time, and in return I get a big black paper weight....Thank you Packet 8 or 8x8, and Contactual for wasting my time and my clients. Thank you Packet 8 or 8x8, and Contactual for making me call Linksys, waste another 20 minutes of my day, just to find out that your phones are not compatible with the router. Thank you!
