I will admit to some stupidity on my part(due to personal circumstances at the time), plus the mistaken notion than people are trustworthy, as to why this happened.

We bought a used Nissan truck for my son from this Toyota dealer. The truck so far has been fairly good, but the purchase itself was a disaster.

I was a victim of the con-game of the salesman quoting one purchase price, while the contract has another. The contract itself was confusing to read, but the bottom line was that we paid several thousand more for the truck than we thought we were. The salesman quoted a price between around 13,500, while we ended up paying 17000. This was all covered up by only discussing monthly payments vs real price. We didn't discover this unfortunately until after 3 business days had expired.

Normally, I would have not fallen for this con-game, but a couple of outside factors which I won't go into in detail (I felt I needed to purchase a vehicle quickly, and my son liked the truck a lot) led to this mistake.

Bottom line - NEVER trust any car salesperson to tell the truth, at least not at this dealership.
