My vehicle 2010 chevy traverse, had a mechanical breakdown (timing chain broke) after I purchased this warranty, that was not due to a pre-existing condition. I understand that the engine was replaced before I purchased the vehicle, and the repair work involved was not performed by General Motors, which I have been informed voids out the extended manufacturer’s warranty. This was done before I purchased this vehicle and therefore does not exempt OwnerGuard from fully honoring the terms of the contract. They told me my cliam was denied because of a preexisting condition. When I was able to drive this vehicle a while and then it broke down how can a timing chain breaking come from a preexisting condition it was broke when I purchased the vehichle. It’s been nearly a month since I’ve first notified OwnerGuard. They then told me it was denied because they pulled two different VIN reports showing my mileage was 63000 in 2014, 64000 in 2015 and 2016. Telling me that was impossible. That wasn't impossible may the vehicle wasn't drive for a year. Its not like the vehicle mileage was going in reverse, I supplied all requested documentation, which has included but not limited to a copy of registration and a Bill of Sale. This company denies almost all claims for bogus reasons. They just want people to pay for warranty and give them money and they do everything in their power to keep from honoring them. I have a family and because of this company. My kids don't have transportation back and forth to school and I am having to catch a ride to work. People please don't do business with this corrupt company. If you find yourself in my shoes, if you can afford it please take them to court to stop these criminals.
