It is not worth the trouble of filing for rebates thru onrebate.com. After hours of work, trying to meet all the various confusing requirements and double-checking to make sure that everything was correct, they still owe me a total of $240 in rebates for two products that necessitated four different rebate forms.

The first rebate for $100 has gone all the way thru the process and the payment was approved on May 19 with an email confirmation that the check would be mailed within 8-10 weeks. Still no check.

The second for $70, which was part of one of those multi-purchase deals with the e-trust software bundled in was not only approved but I received an email that the check had been issued on July 14. It's now August 25. Where is it?

The third for $30 must still be in never-never land. I haven't received anything on it since it was approved on July 10.

The fourth for $40 was denied for "Insufficient documentation

Your rebate was denied you must comply with the terms and condition of the

'Four Ways to Save'." I will have to admit that if you read over the requirements several times, it may not have qualified. My gripe is: Why did they advertise this rebate as part of the package deal if they weren't going to pay it? Smacks of deceptive advertising to me and I will dispute this denial.

I have ended up wasting hours and hours of my valuable time trying to submit and track these rebates thru the confusing maze of paperwork. Next time, I will pay a little more and shop with a more reputable company.

In the meantime, I am hereby demanding that onrebate.com immediately issue all four rebate checks. I expect to be contacted immediately by rebuttal. From what I've seen in the other posts, it appears that onrebate has at least 2 employees assigned to damage-control (my sympathy goes out to the 2 employees - I wouldn't want to have to work for such a dishonest company). I would like to hear from at least one of them immediately.

Also, shame on you TigerDirect. You used to be a pretty good company to deal with before you started up this onrebate business. I guess it's just another example of another company getting too big and greedy. Looks like you've lost another customer over this. Keep it up and you'll find yourself losing them all.
