 When Ocwen took over our loan from Litton Loan Servicing in about November of 2012 we were current on all our payments. They added a "previous prior servicing fee" to our account in the amount of $1047.00

When contacting them, we can only talk to people in India. You can barely understand them and they won't let you talk. They are constantly interrupting as you try to explain a situation or ask a question.

We have sent extra money in to go towards the principle of our account and they always apply it to this previous prior servicing fee, even though I clearly indicate it is for the principle only.

When they took our loan we didn't have any fees on our account according to any monthly statements sent out by Litton Loan Servicing. When we ask them what the previous prior servicing fee is for they say it is from when we had a chapter 13. But Litton did not have it listed, it is like they just added the fees.

We had also tried for a loan modefication with Litton. Had sent in everything on the very long list. But then when Ocwen took over, conveniently they had none of the papers we had submitted for the loan modification. We had to resend all the information, only to be denied any help.

Also, we have sent papers asking them to verify a list of things, sent it certified, but they never replied with any information about our questions. They merely acknowledged they had received them, and said it would be 60 days for a reply, which we never got.

Ocwen also puts your check in a "lock box" so you can never view it again after sending it in, so I had to start scanning a copy of the check. When you google Ocwen, all you see is how terrible they are. As far as we are concerned they are a bunch of crooks!

Ocwen has an "F" Rating with the BBB and a Consumer Alert

Ocwen has an "F" rating with the BBB of Central Florida as well as a highlighted "Consumer Alert" Warning about the business. I too am an Ocwen Customer. I too have requested documents several times and I haven't even recieved an acknowledgment from the company. Their agents are all overseas. Yes these people lie about not having any offices in America when Ocwen has offices right in Florida.

The company is indeed very unethical and unscrupulous. The only way to stop them is to continue to file complaints. File a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Agency in D.C. Their website is CFPB.com or something simiilar. File a complaint with the BBB of Central Florida. File a complaint with BOTH the Florida Attorney General's office and your own state.

SWAMP THESE AGENCIES WITH COMPLAINTS.

Ocwen is screwing all of us. It's pretty much the only thing we can do besides filing a lawsuit which I may do very soon.
