Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

This company did several things. The first is that they never delivered the initial product that they were paid to deliver. Crates were several months behind and NRB lied, claiming that it was only a few weeks behind. They gave several reasons for the delay. First it was the mental health of the owner, then it was that everyone had the flu. The last I saw, they were blaming this on a shipping company that was holding the boxes hostage in return for money that NRB claimed that they weren't owned. Lots of excuses and no actual effort in trying to make things right with the customers.

Very recently they announced that they were going under and mailed out a really terrible email placing the blame on everyone but themselves. They told people that they had money, but that the only way that anyone could get at this money was to file a dispute via the avenues they made the payments. According to what I've seen on various forums, this was a trick since they knew that only a very few people could successfully do this. It also looks like the money they had came from the people that they billed for a new round of boxes, which they did a few days before announcing that they were closing. Their website is still set up to look like they are open, which makes it harder or impossible for people to get their money back. I also heard that changing or removing the credit card info prior to this charge didn't matter, as NRB stored this information and fraudulently charged them as well.

The owners have a new horror box subscription that is under their parents' names, possibly in an attempt to get around the issues with NRB. The parents have claimed that the NRB owners aren't involved, but much of the email that NRB sent out to people states that they own part of the business. I would not do business with Horror Bees unless you're OK with losing money.

They may not have started as a scam, but this ended with Vincent and Jessica Guerrero stealing money from all of their customers.
