Nick Fuller/Fuller Chemdry He scammed my Insuruance Company out of $24,000 and he demolished my house causing $30,000 worth of damage to my home. He also destroed $7000. worth of furniture. Jackson Michigan,
On December 28, 2019 I had a frozen water pipe break in my house. I was referred To Nick Fuller/Fuller Chemdry by Auto Owners Insurance Company to do the water mitigation. I was on vacation in Florida at the time. I hired Nick Fuller to do the water mitigation which he charged my Insurance company $10,000 to do and he did not do it correctly.
He then convinced me to hire him to do the restoration of the house, he said he had done 100's of jobs for my Insurance company. My Insurance Company Paid him $13,000 to do all repairs. It was supposed to be a 4 week job and turned into 6 months. I had to extend my time in Florida by 4 months because my house was not livable. I believed that he was a contractor since all paperwork from the Insurance Company had him listed as a contractor.
I told him to only use Licensed workers. I returned home after Mr. Fuller said that my house was done after 6 months. I was horrified by the condition of my house when I returned home. My house was not complete and was filthy. Kitchen cupboards missing and not the custom cabinets that was suppose to be there, he covered my heat vents and took out one. My belongings were not packed properly and most were not even packed.
Drywall dust was embedded in everything I own. All of my living room furniture had been destroyed and my 2 bed matress and couch from piling all my belongings on them, it broke the springs. Nothing that he had been hired to do was done correctly. He never pulled any building permits and nothing was done to building codes. After contacting Mr. Fuller about my concerns he did very little to remedy the situation.
Then he quit taking my calls and texts . I hired a lawyer to write a certified letter asking for copies of contractors license, my house keys back and to fire him from the job. He never responded back to lawyer. I have now found out that Mr. Fuller was a scam artist and had done this to many other poor people. He bought this business from a friend of mine and never finished paying for the business. The real extent of the damages was not found until I hired a new construction company.
They found that my floor joists had been cut and 2 had to be completely replaced, Dirt and Water was still under my floors. Manufactured house. The list goes on and on. Nothing was done to code and all that he did had to be tore out and redone. It cost over $30,000 to correct the repairs and put my house back together. I filed a case with the State Attorneys Office and got nowhere after a year and a half. I have now turned him into police. Mr. Fuller has been playing this scamming game for a while now and how to play the game.
