I have been a Nextel employee for 4 years and you are wrong in your assumption... everytime your payment is late, it is reported as outstanding debt... This drops the stock price, lowers the value of the company, and gives us less free cash flow to put up towers... trust me, we would rather you just pay your bill on time... you dont have to go total electronic as you can pay your bill over the phone with a check .... the little 1.00 we get for a late payment is nothing, just pay your bill ontime ...
