My daughter, recently moved in with me from Oklahoma about 2 weeks ago. She received a check for $2000.00. We went to ACE CASH EXPRESS. They talked her into taking half in cash and getting the rest put on a NetSpend card. She did that and when she tried to activate the card there was a block on the money! So now she can't get the money back. They said that she already had a netspend card and owed them a $52 balance on it. That is why they put a hold on her $1000.00. So now they have all of her money and won't give any of it back. They keep saying the block will be lifted in 24 hours, but It has been 4 days and still nothing. If NetSpend claims that they don't have any fees, then what the hell is that $52 for???? I will never recommend NetSpend to ANYONE EVER!!!!! They have a very crappy way of doing business and they are crooks who don't know how to hire english speaking people!!!!!
