National Auto Transport is a JOKE
I found this company on "Tampa-Digital City" on AOL when I was transferred there from MN. I called and told them I wanted my car shipped so that it would arrive on or BEFORE April 29th. They assured me THIS COULD BE DONE and needed $125.00 to start the process and I would pay the actual car carrier the remaining $600.00 when they came to pick up my car on APRIL 22. I received a contract in the mail and it was full of wrong information from what I had given the girl on the phone...It said pickup would be the 26th or 27th (I would be gone by then...) I called them back and also changed the info on the contract and faxed it back to them. I told them to tell me NOW if they cannot get my car to Tampa by April 29th..They assured me they could...this time they also said someone (wouldnt tell me who...) would be there to pick up my car on the 22nd of April...I sat all day and waited--no car carrier. I sat home on the 23 and the 24th also!!!! Everytime I called it was the same old story "they will be there the NEXT DAY...."Finally on the 24th the actual carrier said he would be there sometime that night.....I said I needed to know when and he couldnt tell me and told me MAYBE I SHOULD LEAVE MY CAR SITTING AT THE MALL so he could pick it up easier!!!!! Yeah a beautiful car sitting at the Mall with the keys in it.....I said NO and he got mad and said 'YOU ARE HAVING TOO MANY PROBLEMS AND I AM NOT COMING TO GET YOUR CAR AT ALL!!!! I had to leave the day after for Tampa and needless to say my car was never transported....I had to fly back to MN and pick up my car the next weekend and drive it back in order to keep my new job!!! at my expense! I was told by this company that 'I WAS NOT GETTING MY MONEY BACK...."From what I see, they did nothing but LIE to me. They lied on phone and on the contract. I have copies of all the papers and I want my $125.00 back and this company needs to be investigated by the State of FL., as they are based out of Miami. I think....I dont know how they can be allowed to do business on AOL Digital City? There web site address is www.nationalmoving.net and customer service is [email protected]
