miracle ear loud noises will be surpressed , needed it to be loud staten island New York
i received an add for 2 for $995, showed a display with various behind aids that being the largest , i have problem understanding conversation in noisy surroundings that everybody else understands, after testing temporary behind aids were programed they were too loud after many complaints they turned it down , each time they went in and out the room the door lock made an explosive noise , i explained they said all loud noises would be surpressed , i complained it was too annoying , they said the factory adjusted one i will recieve will have that taken care of that they couldnt do it , it irrated my ears he said the one coming will be different with an umberalla type plug, what i didnt like was the way they said id get used to the loudness , needed to be that way or id be back to have it turned up , next morning i called them to cancell the sale i wasnt satisfied as my son as an audio engineer i spoke to said i should of spoke to him first , all audio equipt has threshold cuttoff and it should be able to adress the loud sounds , i am unabl to attend concerts, weddings etc because of the rediculious loud music plugging with tissue paper hardly cuts it down , when i spoke to the sales person he said it is here allready and i can not stop the sale it was too late, i said i guess im screwed he said yes, he has my $1000 credit card info , also added was a monthly charge for the rest of my life for i think it was $15 for batteries and insurance , i dont see it on the bill but must be on one of the papers i sighned too fast, i dont want that option, they discussed payment options, with discussion from company man and salsman they can reduce the price to aprox 4000, i gave them my credit card for partial payment , got home saw sale price was $4890 company marked down from $6190 , technically i saw it had 8 adjustable areas by their computer, i made them turn it down to where conversation was comfortable, they said id be back occasionally to turn it up, must be loud, was similar to a $15 radio shack 2 piece amplifier i have , they made the delivery day 7 days later to insure the credit card payment was in their bank ,
so now i dont have the aids but from reading the complaints led me to write this ramble. i will write my results if is satisfactory i will eat crow and apologize in this column , was sad to see the room full of very elderly looking for help , i hope they honestly helped them ,another thing they insisted wife or another family member accompany me , i went alone , was questioned if i had the authorization power to confirm agree the sale , i said yes , said was commisioned sale
