March 23rd,  2022, the first female head prosecutor in the long and twisted criminal and fraudulent history of the Maricopa County Attorney's Office resigned under pressure.

Brailsord,   was so pushed, finally, to fake up a ridiculously flawed case against that coward,  and pretend to prosecute him.  They sent in a fool with instructions to LOSE, and thus another Mormon criminal walked away,  this one REWARDED for his capital crime by being re-employed by the same deranged department in a "civilian" capacity, and never even asked to give up his firearms.

Mesa Police Association Vice President Fabian Cota said he would welcome a re-evaluation where the union could be involved in the disciplinary process and wants an amicable settlement. "I have been here 10 years and the process has never been put aside like that," said Cota, whose group has met with Fowler and Brady several times to resolve the issue. "It would have worked out to a much better solution if you included employees in the process from the beginning." Whalen, a former assistant police chief, said he is concerned about how much time the discipline process will take in the Police Department, with morale among officers already at an all-time low because of the city's dire fiscal crisis. "I don't know the public really cares how much discipline we hand out; they want to be assured employees are putting in a full day's work," Whalen said. Bryan Soller, president of the Mesa Fraternal Order of Police, said the city should have dealt with the "worst of the worst," educated minor offenders and released a new "no tolerance" policy that could be monitored. He said many of the e-mails were jokes and were sent by people who have never been disciplined before. "The people when they sent them didn't think it was anything that would get them in trouble," Soller said. At City Hall, nearly 230 employees have already received disciplinary action for sending e-mails that contained jokes about Blacks, Hispanics and homosexuals, explicit sex acts and personal love letters. Punishment ranged from 240-hour unpaid suspensions to written reprimands. Under the city's old e-mail and computer use policies, drafted in 1996 and 2002, respectively, supervisors were not allowed to randomly monitor employee e-mails, making them harder to enforce. However, both policies forbade employees from "transmitting, storing and/or viewing obscene or lewd materials" and "sending offensive, derogatory, harassing or bigoted messages." The policies were introduced to employees before they were hired, Brady said. "It's not some secret policy we had," Brady said. Last month, Mesa rolled out a tougher policy that all employees had to sign annually verifying they understood the new rules. These e-mails were sent in an environment set by precedent, whereby employees genuinely believed that they were forwarding information strictly earmarked for close friends and co-workers to view. Management, although just as guilty,(I've got proof, and will use it later in my lawsuit) stuck together found the process, tools, and "scapegoats" necessary to save their own skin. Unfortunately, the big fallacy here is that the public perceives these "abusers" to be closet "perverts" who were not doing their jobs and wasting time on the public dime. One "click" of the mouse takes 2 seconds. Some of these so-called "perverts" forwarded just 1 e-mail over a 12 month period, and I guarantee that most of these "problem" employees are some of the most dedicated public servants you could ever meet. I can only hope that the lawsuits generated from this "investigation" will cost the City tenfold what their "savings" were in publicly humiliating these employees. This could have been handled so much more professionally. A simple warning that a new policy was in place and any future infractions would be handled by strict disciplinary action would have stopped e-mail "abuse" in its tracks. Unfortunately, now if you discipline the P.D. differently than the rest of the employees, more lawsuits will be pending. I had occasion to contact Mayor Keno Hawker about the Mesa "Police Department", and basically advised him, in writing and via mail, that they were nothing, more nor less, than liars and thieves. He sent me a little scrap of paper, suggesting that "Mesa P.D. takes citizen complaints very seriously." Bullshit, Mayor Hawker. Mesa P.D. takes WHITEWASHES very seriously, and moves very quickly to hide facts. Citizens who complain often disappear, and worse. Even token resistance or contempt--about the only thing a sane person can offer rubbish of this n**i lunatic sort--results in very negative GUNFIRE, and even this fifth-rate nincompoops and crackpots sooner or later can hit SOMETHING or SOMEONE. There is no punishment quite appropriate for the sort of rot I saw from this agency. Killing people casually and lying for a living really don't have acknowledged penalties.

Measure, realistically, what happened here and what has happened since. I was attacked by three people. I ran two down and identified them. At least one of the weapons was some kind of piece of metal, which cut me rather badly. Lately, Mesa P.D. shot a 15-year-old, Mario Madrigal, who very decidedly did NOT attack them, for "disobeying orders" while holding a small knife. He died. There was NO actual attack, except by the Mesa officers. Some comparisons are ridiculous. This is one of those. Some public entities are ridiculous. Mesa P.D. and the city and county prosecutors who foist their garbage against decent citizens are ridiculous. Dangerous felons? They may blunder across one once in a great while, but they mainly avoid them. On the other hand, their ranks are FULL of guys like Charles T. Lines, who fabricate "evidence", and prosecutors like Harris who knowingly use lies.

There are thousands of stories like this in Mesa. Anybody here who isn't LDS is subjected to all kinds of crap...and it doesn't matter what actually happens, guys like this criminal Lines are just looking to make up the most convenient and profitable lies for their scumbag brethren in the probation offices and jail system. This has been going on way too long. Harris tried me on for size a couple years before on a similar crock of s**t. I also beat the scumsucking weasel. But I can tell you, if there was a way I could finish that wad myself, with my hands, that I could do legal and get away with, he wouldn't be talking at all... What a pity scum like this actually get into legal and law enforcement professions. In Mesa, they dominate their fields. Liars for a living, there is pretty much nothing else these dreck could do.

I was involved in a brannigan similar to yours. Actually, more like the Markley and Brown cases. Isn't it odd that it says in the Constitution of the United States that suspects are "innocent until proven guilty", and in this stinking filthy slophole, you are not even innocent AFTER you have proven it in three or four different ways. The fact is, legal reform here is probably going to be violent. In my arrest, I was able to prove CONCLUSIVELY I could not possibly have been the person they were looking for. I was not even in THE STATE AT THE TIME!!!! Result? Usual scumbag crap. Took two years' misery to get it sorted out. The judges here and the cops have no interest in evidence or the facts. They have other agendas. None of which have anything to do with innocence OR guilt. They need to be treated accordingly, when their time comes.

Streets full of pot holes and unrepaired? Well, you are merely a citizen, you DO NOT COUNT. And the cops lie for a living? Well, you should be richer, then, maybe nothing would happen... Pay your taxes, though. And if you have the right friends and maybe do a few favors, perhaps your property assessment will be very low. And if you are properly connected, maybe we steal your neighbor's land and sell it to you, cheap. Does Mesa seem like a predatory animal of limited wit? What happened to you is typical. And unlike in the United States, there are no "checks and balances" here...just more b.s. and threats. This is what happens when literacy is low, few citizens vote, and city and county government has never really been exposed to the light of day. And it keeps wages low, so "business" can be attracted. The fact that most "business" attracted is downright illegal or fly-by-night doesn't matter to the big cheeses here. New principle in law, according to Harris: Hide exculpatory or mitigating evidence, or character material on the perpetrators, and with only tiny bits of luck, ANYONE can be convicted. And the more is hidden, the better!!! (4. If I ever encounter either of these criminal slugs and they try to speak to me, I shall spit right in their faces. Mesa is AWASH in "public servants" of this LOW ilk, who are nothing but predators and thieves. These men belong in prison, FOREVER... New principle in law, by the "Harris & Lines rules"... Here's yet another example of the Sterling caliber of justice, meted out by these lowlife pond scum. When are the real crooks going to be held accountable? When do Mesa P.D.'s arrogant lies and ripoff and other criminal conduct result in something other than cover stories, more lies, and bleeding citizens WHITE?? ------------------------------------- (the below is condensed from various articles in the REPUBLIC and TRIBUNE) After well over four years, a Mesa man, KNOWINGLY PROSECUTED IN ERROR BY MESA POLICE AND THE COUNTY PROSECUTOR'S OFFICE, finally received some small amount of justice. After years of police and city lies, cover stories, smoke screens, evasions, and downright criminally corrupt conduct, Aaron Shane Markley was awarded only $500,000. The jury took only an hour and ten minutes to return the findings, and to clearly find gross negligence against ELIZABETH HORN, the detective who targeted the 31-year-old victim of Mesa Police incompetence and greed. Larry Debus, the plaintiff's attorney, called it a case of "mistaken identity". Most importantly, the jury identified serious flaws in police procedures. Markley said it wasn't a mistake which could be easily dismissed. The City's Attorney, Catherine Bowman, not surprisingly, was "unavailable for comment", but suspicions linger that the city's bogus police and prosecution apparatus will try some kind of appeal or end run to avoid paying OR facing their continual and chronic errors and corruption. The City had argued that there was no basis for the claim because the arrest was "based on a valid warrant". FOR THE RECORD: WITH THE CORRUPT COPS, JUDGES, AND PROSECUTORS IN THIS FIFTH-RATE COMMUNITY, IT IS EASIER TO GET A "VALID" WARRANT THAN TO FIND A TOILET!!! Markley, misidentified as a drug dealer due to erroneous testimony from Horn, based on an undercover drug buy April 6th, 1998, was viciously and aggressively pursued for over a year, when in fact the actual dealer's name was supposedly "MARKEY" and the department KNEW he had left town in '98, and persisted ANYWAY. Markley did not even find out he had been indicted until January of 2000. He turned himself in to try to settle the matter. Horn ultimate HAD to admit she never ONCE checked Markley's utility or other records, or even attempted to determine if he had lived at the address where the "buy" was consummated. The prosecutors and police did not move for dismissal. When the errors finally were rubbed in their noses in August of 2000, the courts finally dismissed. Debus said Markley went through eight months of "hell", providing visually monitored urine samples, one of which erroneously came up "dirty" and the local "law enforcement" idiots attempted to have him jailed. They even threatened him with the loss of his children's custody. Question: When do we start firing and prosecuting cops and D.A.'s for perjury and false reporting? Question: At what level does a so-called law enforcement agency become so corrupt and demented that it has to be decertified? Question: How can an agency who does this all the time retain any credibility AT ALL? The Brown case, a very similar action in which a black prison guard did a great deal of time in Arpaio's hell, despite having solid proof he was totally uninvolved in Mesa's FAKE and FRAUDULENT case, also based on a name mixup, long after the agencies were aware they had the wrong man, is just one of an endless list of police ripoffs in Mesa. probable cause standard. Cops very literally
get away with murder. None of them WALK

A guy in Milwaukee was killed a few days ago by
kids in just about the circumstances you describe... an attack (in his case, with an egg, no metal or anything like that) right at his door by multiple juveniles, who beat him to death, then whined he should be prosecuted for "assaulting" them. This didn't fly because it wasn't in Mesa.

This police report was filed when, 1997? Normally, they would have killed or permanently incarcerated you by now. They are probably "coding" or sabotaging your car.

I was on the jury in this case. We actually
caught several OTHER lies. The map was
especially rotten. Lines did it to make it
look like you chased the kids forever. But
it was so demented and fanciful, no one could
figure out where anything was. No marks? Your
jail picture looked like you'd been shot in the
face a couple of times. And then they tried
to suggest to us that you had done it yourself.

That prosecutor is a crook. And so is the cop.

When we sent our question out, the prosecutor tried to sneak in some new "evidence"... He is a rat.

Funny thing is, one of the other jurors still
pushed to convict. He basically said: EVEN THOUGH THE COP IS LYING AND NOTHING HAPPENED, YOU DID SOMETHING WRONG, SOMEWHERE. I guess he
just felt like convicting somebody that day. The
rest of us knew it was b.s., just about immediately.

That one little kid, he was lying so heavy,
he couldn't keep his lies straight, and we could all tell the prosecutor knew it. That's why we laughed.

If I ever sit on a jury again--and I hope I never do--I never want to see a fake pile of crap case like that. Talk about railroads!

It would be wiser, in that remote eventuality, to remove the franchise from play, than allow Mesa's cowardly, criminal, corrupt police and "City Manager's office" to raid more legitimate citizens for the purposes of money and scalp display.

The fact that Proposition 404 was still on the ballot illustrates the insane lengths to which the putrid scum in this city administration will go, in their hissy fit, pouting manner, to try to push things their way, even after more sane
personalities have already reached a final conclusion.

Now, it time to put Mesa OUT OF BUSINESS, completely. Given time, these lowlifes will do it themselves. But revenue denial and forcing local business to leave by simply boycotting is a good start.

This is the same, tired personnel and the same
corrupt, criminal policies Mesa has used for years.

It is a job-building & public relations program. Lately, they have announced any firearms would be confiscated, even from CWP holders, and the numbers run through the NCIS system, regardless of other legalities. This is illegal. Moreover, sooner or later, they are going to run afoul of B.A.T.F. and steal--that's what it is, by the way, is THEFT--the property of a licensed dealer. But the local pukebags will be unlikely to go to jail.

This particular cop has done this and similar things before. It is how his family makes a living. Create a bogus problem, for which a solution is already prepared. Best way to deal with them: leave Mesa. Second best way: call an attorney the moment a Mesa "police officer" says hello. This best way: lock yourself in your house and do not answer the phone or go anywhere.

The biggest fraud is that they pretend to be
"peace officers"... The only "peace" business they are in is getting a piece of the action. They are the REASON serious businesses won't even consider locating here.

Mainly, what I want to do is make productive contact with
an extremely nasty, aggressive attorney with no ties to the
local dirt wads. I have spoken to some of the locals, who have less courage than Mesa's trillions of cockroaches, and who are not a hell of a lot brighter, and seem to have even less ethics.

One expects to meet turds in a sewer, I suppose.

Don't worry. I have solid evidence. And I have already been attacked by these rotten, filthy scum to the point where I have nothing much left to lose. The jail experience is not supposed to make sense, nor does it have anything to do with anything except building the power base for the locals, and making them money, both directly and indirectly. The topside attitude of contempt for
inmates--the scumbags in the Mesa Police Department and the guards like to call them, erroneously, as befits the collection of lice which comprises yokel "law enforcement", "criminals"--is translated to the very most callous and vicious pro
forma maltreatment that can be imagined in a backwater state like Arizona, which likes to pretend it's part of a democracy. But make no mistake. The jails you
pay for will cause a genuine and hideous revolution of some sort, and probably quite soon.

Hopefully, the U.S. Department of Justice or someone outside this insane venue and its publicity-seeking storm troopers will do something before it becomes violent, but I doubt it; and so does everyone else who's studied the situation.

These are some curious and perhaps humorous notes on "the system"....

--As often as the guards use microphones, it would seem they might at least try to develop some talent or technique in their use. Or then, perhaps, they don't want to be understood. The words and sounds which emanate from the sound system
are totally unintelligible, worse even that what I used to think comprised the past masters of incoherent public announcement, whoever it is that makes those
strange and obscure pronunciations at airports around the country. When announcements were made, inmates would look at each other, shrug, asking, "What the hell did that mean?" Garribaldi summed this up with a paraphrase of a line
from an old ad: "I got a d**k in my mouth, and I can't get it out!"

--I wound up shackled to a fellow Mesa P.D. victim several times, because his "offense"--almost as imaginary as mine--took place on the same day, in the same venue. His name was "Tyndahl", and he identified himself as a "fallen" Mormon.
I thought he was stark, raving nuts, and most of what he said confirmed my suspicion. But one day, in one of the prisoner vans, going to East Mesa Justice court for one of the various formalities contrived, I think, to run prisoners
through transition as often as possible, he said a few things which might be profound or might be seditious or might just be idiotic fantasies: "Hey, Mormons aren't stupid, ya know. They're only fifteen to twenty per cent of the Mesa
population, but they're seventy per cent or more of the cops. They run this f**kin' town, and they run it because they all vote. Truth is, all they wanna do is get their crystal meth, f**k their daughters, sometimes their sons, and see us goddamned infidels and fallen Mormons get the s**t kicked out of us. And guess what? They're doin' it."

--One of the reasons jail detention is intended to be very long in Maricopa County, and especially in anything in which the criminals at Mesa P.D. are involved, is so that police can "re-arrange", modify, conceal, destroy, or manufacture "evidence" and keep defendants from working on their own defense, on
their own behalf. In my case, I was told just after the trial that the "arresting officer", the perjurer Lines, physically moved the twisted wire and excrement with which I was attacked, after the photo team left. Of course, he'd
already committed himself to a false police report by not mentioning it, and then committed further perjury by claiming it never existed. But he hasn't done any jail
time...not yet, he hasn't.

--It's possible the break-in executed on my car, during which something was "deposited", rather than the customary "withdrawal", the theft of my license
plate, the bogus DUI which other Mesa P.D. officers attempted (unsuccessfully, let me add) to make fly, are all coincidences, and that their was no conspiracy or covert action by Lines or other Mesa P.D. officers. It is also possible that
pigs fly at night, when we cannot see them. But I doubt both.

--Language is used somewhat differently in jail. Should you wind up "inside" by dictum of your local P.D., for example, do not use the term "punk"...in jail parlance, that's a man's "b***h"...the bottom end of a homosexual relationship.

--Jail politics is bizarre in all contexts. One guard finally began to accept my endless assertion that "some idiot" had lost my bond reduction, and called the computer people downtown, East Mesa Justice Court, and so on. Along with the
efforts of the only friend I had who knew much about the system, this got the correct data entered, some eleven days late, into the jail computers. I wanted
to thank him, once I got out, but knew that doing so "through the system"--which would be my ordinary procedure--could only get him in trouble with his superiors. So I had to pass the word to deliver some thanks through an inmate.

--On probation, in rehabilitation, in whatever context, anyone who deals with "the system" pays and pays and pays at every level. Even probation officer meetings have to be paid for. I had to give up my car to cover my bond. Walking many miles daily, I was stopped and questioned, frequently carrying
clearly identified grocery bags, heavy and sometimes melting, for the very obvious purpose of further harassment. This is how "law enforcement" works in Mesa, Arizona. Too cowardly and stupid to deal with criminals, Mesa P.D. wastes your tax dollars annoying honest citizens. That, after all, is what criminal scum does--waste time and money. Forty-five documented times. Last time, I asked what someone should've asked them, preferably over the barrel of a
shotgun, a very long time ago: "Don't you have anything to do at all?" I expected to be shot. Oddly, that particular cop said, "Yes, I do." And then he drove off.

--I was in one of the lockups, in transition or intake, when several "V.I.P." assault suspects came in, charged with, basically, the same thing I was. But they were basically in private quarters, and I am quite certain I saw guards
jockeying in and out with what appeared to be Pizza Hut pizzas. They weren't there long, and were superbly well treated. They were the druggies from some rock group, apparently called "Motley Crue", who had committed their
assault(s) in front of thousands of witnesses. They weren't "inside" very long. Maybe they were rich. Or maybe they were Mormons.

--I have spent ten months' time, as this is written, seeking a civil rights attorney willing to proceed for many millions of dollars, against Mesa P.D., the individual officer(s) involved, the Prosecutor's Office and the individual
prosecutor, and many others, for perjury, the subornation of perjury, criminal concealment of evidence, false arrest, and various other sorts of criminal misconduct, to include obstruction of justice, not the least of which is the malfeasance which, at the very beginning, is indicated when a man is attacked by multiple assailants and winds up going to jail. In Maricopa County, any two individuals can concoct any kind of a story against anyone, swear to it to a police officer, and if the person accused is not a high-ranking Mormon church member or rich and well-connected, the fiction will put him behind bars. No matter what. Not a single local lawyer
would touch the case. I now work 12-17 hours a day, trying to make up the enormous deficit which 100+ days of this madness imposed upon me, and I had to send mass-produced summaries of the case and the facts to lawyers, the ACLU, the US-DOJ, and others, in an attempt to see the real criminals in my case
prosecuted, defrocked, and hopefully, imprisoned forever. Trust me on this. I am not the only person to whom this has happened. There have to be hundreds of others, and if we get together, justice might happen. But not through the local
apparatus. I am now conducting a national search for the right attorney. I am, however, proceeding against Maricopa County, in the amount of $160,000, for false imprisonment(note: this was written in 1998, before the sheriff's office settled).

Mesa P.D. needs to have someone take one of the D.W.N.M.'s (Driving While Not Mormon) tickets and their selective prosecutions of those who annoy them, and get seriously ravaged by it in court. Then they have to be PURGED... And they need to have their criminal conduct rammed down their lying, criminal throats EVERY SINGLE DAY, in every forum possible.

This CANNOT go on, and replacing one of the city manager's flunkies with another in November of 2002 is only going to make this criminal conspiracy worse.

The monetary and financial agenda of Mesa city government is simple: make money for the entrenched cadre, and make sure its power base remains intact, NO MATTER HOW SMALL THE DWINDLING MORMON POPULATION MAY BECOME. Right now, it is 16% at the most, 10% at the least, depending upon whose information one trusts.

The way to break that stranglehold for the Lutherans, Methodists, Catholics, Baptists, Jews, Moslems and yes, FOR WHATEVER TINY MINORITY OF HONEST, SECULAR MORMONS WHO HAVE FELT THE STING OF THE LOCAL ESTABLISHMENT, is simple: Vote them out of elected office, and push for the impeachment and criminal investigation of the residue that remains afterwards.

The ordinary tools of reason DO NOT WORK. This is a criminal conspiracy. Exposure is the first component, revenue denial via boycott the second, but the ultimate solution is to VOTE against them.

If you can wind up incarcerated in this lunatic asylum simply for trying to check out perpetrators in a blatant assault where the actual criminals go free, ANYTHING CAN AND WILL HAPPEN. Sure, the trial result was "innocent of all charges"...but what does that mean???? Tainted freedom is retained until THE NEXT TIME a Mormon officer needs to find a bogus "bust" to keep himself safe and looking efficient. Or one is dropped into the meat grinder of unending revenge, and is arrested or at least questioned almost daily. Meantime, REAL crime goes on, unchecked and mostly uninvestigated.

They send S.W.A.T. teams to household incidents, don't even investigate your friendly, local methamphetamine factories and crack houses. There are only a couple of possible explanations:

The city needs to be sued regularly, relentlessly, for every incident of "selective" law enforcement and grotesque imcompetence. Then, if we also VOTE, perhaps something positive will happen. Both jurisdictions, but especially Mesa, have more "enforcers" on the street, per capita, and more citizens locked up than the runaway apparatus of the right-wingers in n**i Germany or the repressive socialists of the Soviet Union ever did, at any one time.

Make no mistake: the real agenda is not "law enforcement", it is money pumping. Someone arrested for a felony, even a minor one--notice I said "ARRESTED", not "CONVICTED"--provides fuel for the system, potentially for years to come. There is input at one end--police officers, paper shufflers, judges--and at the other end, the output--prison guards, deputies, parole and probation offices, "counseling" services, etc., etc., etc. No one involved in the system gives even the tip of a euphemistic hat to a suspect's constitution presumption of innocence. If one is arrested, even in a stupid case of mistaken identity, there are no probable cause or evidentiary hearings, and as a result, people TOTALLY INNOCENT frequently spend a few days to over a year locked up or under preposterous supervision, paying EVERY DAY to their oppressors. Those whose charges are merely ridiculous exaggerations generally have to spit up even more fuel for this eating machine.

The Brown and Markley cases are particularly blatant examples, in which prosecutors KNEW they had the wrong parties. While locked up myself, I ran into several more, including one gentleman with a very common, ethnically French name, from New England, who had been extradited from his home on drug charges, specifying a very particular sale of crack cocaine. He had been in for months, moved almost daily, run in and out for hearings and discussion, but never allowed to present his evidence. Trouble with the Mesa P.D. case? He had never before set foot in Arizona (until extradited), and had extremely persuasive evidence, including a time card from his employer, demonstrating that he was some 2400 miles away when the alleged "crime" took place. And the police report made the time conflict obvious, even adjusted for different time zones. Indeed, in order to do the crime for which he had already done substantial time, within a week of the correct time, he would have had to fly into and out of Arizona several times, report for work, etc., etc., etc., and to actually be in two places at once. He had his security check-in photo from the day of the "crime" and for days preceding and following. And the "authorities" from Arizona had presented NO evidence of his transport whatsoever. He had a heavy New England accent, not mentioned in the police report... Indeed, when he showed me his jail papers and the various names, my immediate conclusion was: "They should probably be looking for a French Canadian." But he was who they found...so..... I do not know what ultimately happened.

Another gentleman came into Towers 4-B with a rather distinct heel print on his forehead, so distinct some of the letters were clearly visible, and a fairly ugly but small knife puncure in his side, made stranger by the red iodine stains which surrounded the wound. He was a mental patient, we all thought, and he behaved strangely. However, he finally showed me his police report and "jail papers". Without quoting him--he was confused, and I was sure not very stable, and also probably suffering from a bad concussion--the reports of six witnesses said that this gentleman, about 5'10" and perhaps 140 pounds, had, out of a clear blue sky, attacked all of them. Their AVERAGE weight was about 185-190 pounds, average height roughly 5'11", and two of them had knives when the police arrived, one of which a "witness" claimed he had used to "defend himself". The "defendant" had been taking drugs, all right--several anti-psychotic and anti-depresseant prescriptions, all legal and all described as bearing "recent labels from the Veteran's Administration". Here's how this boils down: if half a dozen people are willing to lie about an incident wherein they attack and rob someone, in public, the VICTIM IS FAR MORE LIKELY TO DO JAIL TIME THAN THE REAL PERPETRATORS. The real case against this man came down to: (1. He had a history of pettty arrests, and had been homeless off and on for years; (2. The street gang toughs WHO ATTACKED HIM had only a few scattered, small change arrests between them, but lived in the neighborhood; (3. Police had intentionally avoided interviewing ANY of the objective witnesses, and in fact threatened several to leave the area; (4. He was "using drugs"--the six criminals who attacked him were not even tested and if they were questioned about drugs, it did not appear in any of the paperwork; (5. The fact that the "defendant" could not locate his wallet and i.d.--one of the "victims" had it--was construed by police as "resisting arrest", which became yet another of the many layered charges against him. Again, what happened, I do not know.

The myth that everyone in jail is guilty is HOGWASH. The myth that everyone in whom agencies like Mesa P.D. even show interest is involved with crime is even worse: it is a criminal calumny. Why these venues so exaggerate small charges is obvious. The real driving agenda of an oversized police department and bloated administration is obvious: No matter what they are actually doing, they must appear to be, at the very least, "keeping the lid on" crime. Thus, in an ugly argument in which no physical violence takes place, where perhaps a charge of disorderly conduct might be appropriate and simple, corrupt agencies will tap dance with witnesses and "victims" to build a preponderance of evidence of a greatly inflated charge, let us say aggravated assault or child abuse or domestic violence, or most likely, all of the above, and "sandwich" that with a closed-circuit charge such as "resisting arrest", where only an officer's testimony is usually necessary, and then lean very hard for a heavy plea agreement. Thus, something as ordinary as an out-of-hand family conversation which took a bad turn can wind up threatening a wage-earner, a veteran, YOU, WITH MANY YEARS OF HARD INCARCERATION. This costs the city money, the "victims" at both ends, ties up the courts, and leaves far more serious matters totally unattended. But it makes a police department look as if they are dealing with dangerous problems, when in fact they have often taken words uttered in air and made them far worse than the reality ever was. This is not to forgive or forget the abuser... NO WAY! But inappropriate charges and exaggeration to the point of fiction and worse are so common here that they are the daily fodder of the system.

There is a myth that "political correctness" and "pork barrel politics" are a venue strictly for the American left wing, the "liberals" whose title has become a kind of curse word in Arizona. Forget it. This is a very conservative, right-wing venue. Political correctness here feeds into the "law enforcement" mechanism, and inflates the wallets and the egos of officials who, frankly, belong in the selfsame institutions they have been feeding for years. And it will not change when Jan Strauss leaves her post in November. It is the principles, the agenda, and the bloated payrolls which have to go.

Do not kid yourself. The police coverup of the "Reed Park Molester", their own sexual and financial miscues, vast and open drug activity all along the Main Street and Broadway Corridors, land grabs and power enforcement of eminent domain, residential codes VERY SELECTIVELY enforced, an aggressively fraudulent "DUI TASK FORCE" which operates only in communities owned and/or controlled by the "Mormon Mafia", and which HOURLY does more fraud than ENRON did in ten years--these are not coincidences or accidents, any more than the vicious and blind pursuit of "suspects" known to be innocent of the precise charges right from the get-go: It is the very agenda.

I have been involved in a futile search for an
attorney with the guts and power to rearrange some of the
pieces of this idiotic puzzle, which ruined a career and
will ultimately compel me to leave this filthy, stinking, rotten town. I want to sue all the key parties, and it would be
prudent to use the extant evidence to lodge perjury indictments. This, of course, will never come out of the Maricopa County Attorney's office, and approaching anyone with the City of Mesa would be suicide--literally!!! My friends have come to believe that I will never live to leave this town.
I do, however, have publishers... I will release all my documents--ALL OF THEM!--and all the photos, to a sufficiently
aggressive attorney, willing to take this case on contingency.
This happens every single day. Lines is a pure nepotist, whose family has been involved with Mesa P.D. for generations. And there are hundreds of other officers just as dirty. We will never want for co-plaintiffs.

And to Mayor Keno Hawker let me add this sage advice: Your police department is a criminal conspiracy. I told you that within months of your election. I would no sooner discuss a matter of procedure or the law with them than I would discuss with one mad dog the excessive biting of the last. You probably have many good officers, though why they stay with this corrupt congregation of lunatics, I have no idea. Worse, some of them are murderers. If this sore isn't tended to, it will destroy this town. It already is! You have been told these same things by others. Now, DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT!!!! Get rid of the City Manager and investigate his office, deeply... And start building pressure NOW to get rid of that office ENTIRELY.
Otherwise, Mesa CANNOT prosper.
