I gave my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee for an oil change and they took the car inside and delayed me sitting there for hours together and finally gave me a big check list of work needs to be done. There is an a**hole called Jim (who sits in front of the Meineke Car Care Center and gives an irritating grin when you go in). There is no water, no air condition, no heater inside this office.
I told Jim that I am fine with the oil change but he insisted that I take care of it right away and I believed this A**H**E and gave my car and when he once he ripped my engine apart he came up with an estimate of $1300 (One thousand three hundred dollars) for changing various parts which I know for sure that were working well.
I said that I am not interested but he said that he has spent $650 of labor to get my parts checked and said that it would be a waste of money if I didnt go with his bullshit. I had no choice rather than to go with it and ended up paying $1300 when I went in for a mere oil change of $50..
After a month, I really started noticing lots of noise and leaks in my car and took it back to a*****e Jim (Lets refer him a*****e going forward) and he said that he has to inspect the car and didnt want to look into my car as he knew that he is not going to get paid for it and made me wait for 3 hours. Finally, Finally I walked up to him and yelled at him and that a*****e went in again and came up with another estimate for $900 today and gave me a whole different story of new repairs.
I was literally pissed off with his RIP OFF and started yelling and he went inside hiding himself and not coming out. I was then told by few guys out there that he was arrested a couple of times for cheating customers for not doing the job right and totally ripping them off.
All guys who work there are not trained professionals, they are trying to learn from customers vehicles and want to RIP US OFF. Better Business Bureau has a whole bunch of reports for these guys and I dont think that they would survive anymore.
Guys, Please, Please, Please never ever go to this a**hole Jim's Meineke Car Care Center in East Windsor.. Take it to Good Year Car Care Center that is opposite side of this store. You get gurantee on the job done and excellent customer service.
I sincerely wish that Jim should be behind bars soon for the cheat he is doing all these years..
