I opened my MCI wireless account in Maryland (Leonardtown) on Nov 01. My first bill was over $680.00 - I was shocked.

Every call made was hit with a roaming charge. After many unsucessful attempts at reaching their customer service department - I was finally told that due to my location being surrounded by water (the Potomac River, Wicomico River and Cheseapeake Bay) it was causing their satelite to buffle and therefore each call I made was accessed a roaming charge.

After many phone calls they adjusted the bill but not correctly. This happened every month for four months. I called MCI in April to cancel my service.

I have sent them e-mails to boot. I'm still getting bills for my cell phone that I have not used since May of 01. I try calling the customer service number but can never get through to someone that can help me solve this issue. Run far and fast from MCI Wireless.

I moved to Texas in Jun of 01 - why would I want a MCI account in Maryland? Do you think a Judge would understand?
