MAX LEND Overcharge on Interest Parshall North Dakota
I went to Max Lend thinking that it was a good company. I had borrow $875.00 and I asked them if I paid if off early would it be lower.
They said yes, they drafted 165.25 on 1/18/18 and they said it was a discount, and I said what, that is no discount. So I did a double payment on 2-2-2018 and told them I would payoff on 2-16-18 and asking for the payoff. I was thinking that the payoff would be about 500.00. They said it was 754.28 and I said what!!! How can that be if I am paying off early, I only borrow 875.00 and paying 503.00 in interest for 3 weeks. I wanted to have a heart attack. Then a employee of MaxLend said that I was getting a discount. and I am going where is the discount. Don't sit there and lie to me, now you are loan sharks.
I should have looked into this Company more and would have seen all the complaints on them. I will never do this again, I will ask a friend to loan me money before going to companies like this that prey on the people that are in need.
These people are horrible! How can they get away with this interest and then charging 24.50 for every hundred.
Is this legal?
