Last summer we took our seven year old Honda accord lx to Maaco for a paint job. After looking the car over, we were given an estimate for three small rust spots and the ambassador paint finish. We agreed to it and got the car painted. Three days later, after the paint job was done, a new rust bubble popped up where there didn't seem to be one before we took it in.
So of course we took the car back and asked about it. Would you believe that he tried to convince us that that particular spot must've suddenly grown rusty there because of the age of our car?
(not that he had missed a spot in the inspection) So we paid to have them weld a NEW piece of metal in that spot and repaint it.
Wouldn't you know...THREE days after the 90 day rust repair warranty ran out - the spot is back! Head office won't help you either. Be warned!
