My son just got fired from LOVE"s travel store in Valliant OK' for eating a bag of potato chips. He asked to see the film from the cam recorder that the manager said caught him on. The manager said he didn't have to show him. My son said he didn't do it. The manager said you tore the bag open and ate the chips without paying for it. My son got his last check today and asked when he would receive his two weeks of vacation that he earned. The manager said he didn't have to pay him for the vacation pay because it was a law that he could use to not pay him. Can you tell me if that is so.

I guess for starters - your complaint here was missing key information:
1. How long did your son work for the establishment?
2. Was he working full time there?
Some general rules:
You would have to file a complaint with the labor board in OK (I don't know the name of the department). They may begin an investigation and it may turn out your son may not have been entitled to be paid out for reasons other than what the employer told your son. On the other hand, they may have violated your son's rights as well. Without more information, it is difficult to say....

Why would you think ANY car dealer would give you a discount for a cash purchase? That's one of those old ideas which went out the door years and years ago! The dealer makes more money from a financed deal! Secondly, you have ZERO idea about the BBB and the BBB-BS. The ONLY reason any business does not have a phoney "A" rating is because they haven't PURCHASED it! The BBB is NOT part of ANY government body. The BBB has ZERO POWER to do anything. The ONLY purpose of the BBB-BS is to SELL their phoney accreditations and phoney ratings which ANY business CAN BUY!
