LKQ Auto Durham NC over charged base on advertised cost Durham North Carolina
I checked out with a tailgate from a 1996 GMC K1500. The charge came up to over $65. This weekend was ads for %40 off.
The list for tailgate was $51.83
%40 discount should made cost $31.11 plus $2.34 bring cost to $33.45.
They wanted to charge $8.00 core charge for part that cannot be remanufactured.
Even with that cost should not been slightly over $40
When I question the charge was treated rudely and told that that was what charges were and had been for years.
After calling corporate office was told to speak to local manager.. He said that the charge should be $55. Now that is $10 less than orginal

I have fould now where in EPA or NC General Statues that fee exist let allone formula for charging consumers.
I have not have my inelligence insulted since last time the used car saleman tried to beat me to death with his pencil!
