I am a Senior Citizen (Age 74). Initially, I ordered the free DVD, paying $1.99 for shipping and handling. Nothing was said or indicated that there would be additional charges, or that I was also become a "member. I did receive the DVD a few days later.

I also received two additional charges on my card: one in the amount of $19.99 and the other in the amount of $94.78 (March 10, 2009). I intend to call this fraudulent company and request to cease with any further action and/or unauthorized transactions this afternoon.

I do expect much resistance from these scammers; and would consider it a miracle to get any refund.

I will also supply my bank with copies of complaints in an effort to stop payment of the noted amount of funds. Showing them complaints from others who have been scammed may cause them to implement their fraudulent policy.

There are no grants available for houses, cars etc... Most of these bogus grant websites were created in Nov 08, for the sole purpose of ripping you off - Using the Obama election as it the springboard. FACT IS THE INFO IS ALREADY FREE FROM THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT! I would think that someone you age would have far more common sense then to fall for a scam like this. http://www.consumeraffairs.com/scam_alerts/grant.html Government Grant Scams The "free money" scam has been around almost as long as the human species. It has more variations than a bulldog has wrinkles but you can count on one thing: the government (any government) does not simply give money away to individuals. Anyone who tells you differently has larceny in his heart. If you give him your bank account number, he will soon have your funds in his pocket. Below is a tiny sample of the hundreds and hundreds of complaints we receive about the many versions of this scam. It does no good to list all of the names used by these bunko artists because a.) they change all the time and b.) every single free-money government-grant offer is a scam. Period.
