3/29 Brought in car 11:??am

3/29 Picked up car at 4:30pm

3/31 Saw first damage to right front bumper, it was a chip of missing paint.

Pointed out to a (friend) as I continued to inspect the new damages.

Found that the bumper was pushed up and the sides were cracked.

First I looked for evidence of another vehicle, and where I was hit. There was no signs of impact from another vehicle so upon further inspection I found the definate signs of a "curb-check" evenly on both sides of the bottom front of the bumper the paint was off all the way to the substrate.

I work on this car quite regularly, I had even washed and hand dried it just before I took it into Les Schwabs. So I know that before I went there everything was fine. Short of normal ware and tare from that type of body kit, which I spot paint anytime I see a new mark.

After thinking about all possabilities and places I had been the only place I could think of that it could have happened was at the Tire place, as I am the only one to ever drive this car except when it was in thier hands. So we drove right over and checked. They were already closed. At this time I did not see any marks on the curb, where I thought I had picked the car up from the previous day. However the angle of the curb suggested that the possability was great, that the "curb-check" in question was here.

So we left and I had planned on returning monday since it was Easter weekend. I had to work during the open hours of business on Monday and wasn't able to get back till Tuesday.

When I pulled up this time I took another look at the curb in question. I found that I was looking in the wrong place the first time. Another vehicle was previously parked there and this time it was easy to see my paint marks on the curb.

I took a closer look and sure enough both parts of the missing paint from the bottom front of my bumper was still there, imbeded into the curb (see attachment2) . Now I had the proof that one of the drivers drove into the curb with my car.

The manager Brian Downing took some pictures of the damages he saw and told me to get 3 estimates for the repair and fill out the accident report.

That took about 1 full work day to complete ?? miles of driving to the different locations.

I drove down again, brought the info to him on Thursday April 4th

Brian said we should hear back from "them"  ?insurace?  in about a week. I finally hear back from Brian

Finally on 4/16 Brian calls and says "they won't fix it, but come down and I'll take anther look and see what I can do.

So, I drive down again. He asked me if he can take the car and jack it up and take a better look. He took the car into a bay and started jacking it up. Noticing that the lift hit my side skirts he lowered it and moved some blocks to get a better lift area. I later noticed that he had now cracked my side skirt by fully picking it up improperly. Before he reset the blocks. (I can say I now hate this  shady place)

He says let me get back to you tomorrow (4/17) by 4:30pm and he'll see what he can do. On 4/18 at 6:30pm he finally calls back and informs me he is willing to pay for half of the lowest estimate due the damage that was already there. The previous damage wasn't where the new damage was. except where the attachment tabs where, and they are now fully cracked through and need to be re-enforced.

Needless to say off to court I go.
