 Allison Tucker is the recent new General Manager at the LensCrafters Optique downtown D.C. Mrs Tucker is also unfair and unjust with how she treats her employees. Since day one she cut majority of her current location employee hours and offered the hours to another store employee all because she are "friends" and want them to be with her. I worked for LensCrafters for a total of one and a half years, 8 months at this particular location as an optometrist technician full time ( 32 plus hours ) a week and going to school full time at Everest institute as a Medical Assistant. During the end of the school year I was able to start my Externship where I have to perform a total of 200 hours so I can graduate and become a certified medical assistant in the state of Maryland. I went to Allison in an attempt to create a schedule where I can be available to her every week as she create the schedule and still have time to start my externship hours so I created a trail schedule and asked if she was ok with it. She replied yes when i asked her in person but as time progressed she only scheduled me for part -time hours ( 8 hours every 2 weeks). Since that day she never had time to talk to me about a solution despite numerous call, and text i send to her directly ( yes i still have the text messages ). I even asked if I can job share and pick up hours at another store. She replied yes I can pick up hours at another store but to no suprise she reached out tto the other store location ( Prince Georges Plaza ) and told the new general manager at that location John Anthony ( jr ) to not put me on the schedule. When I inquired why I never got a response ( The assistant manager ) pulled me to the side and said that they don't want me on the schedule and giving him no reason to not put me on the schedule despite the fact that i meet my daily goals with success This went on from April 17, 2013 to July 26, 2013. I called in a complaint to Human Resource and they have not investigated nothing, never got a call back from the associate (Beth)... Allison called me in to work on a Thursday 2013 and gave me termination papers that said I had attendance issues. How can I have attendance issues when this issue starts with me going from Full-Time to below Part-time ?? I have documented all conversation with Allison (GM) and Lindsy (AM) who is blatantly disrespectful and made a threat that she will "contact other stores guarantee me that I will not be able to pick up hours" I also have witnesses and the other Medical Assistant who was willing to share hours with me but Lindsy the Assistant Manager told her that she can share her hours with anybody she want but just not me !!!!
