New business looking for credit card billing capability received call from NBS saying they had the lowest fees, no increases, no minimum charges for cards. Offered 1.5 % fee for charges plus $10/month with card machine, top of the line, rented for $12.95/month or purchased outright for about $790.

Received a low end machine, no reports as to how billing was being done with amounts taken from our account that did not compute and $25/month rather than $10 and suddenly we acquired a lease-purchase with LeaseComm for over $1700 payable at ?39.95 per month for 48 months with no cancellation provision.

During one month we only had about $100 in credit card charges, but varying amounts withdrawn from our accounts by these two totalled $300. They began making demanding, threatening calls and to try to end it all, we ended up losing an additional $1700 to them and are not sure from what we have seen in complaints about this company whether it has ended.

At one point I was told to grow up and accept the facts of business in the US and blamed us for the problem saying that we had signed an incomplete contract when it stated clearly that we were responsible for any errors if we signed it before it was completed. Does this mean that we can never leave a square millimeter of empty space on a page we sign?
