Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
DO NOT!!!! I repeat, Do no buy a car from Landmark Chevrolet...Let me rephrase that...Don't even waste your time by going there.

My Husband & I have 2 children & one on the way, & were driving a Pick up truck, so as you can imagine we were kind of desperate for a new bigger car. We don't have very good credit. I don't even have a score & my husbands is at about 540, which makes it very hard to get financed. We knew this but were still desperate to get a car.

We applied for a loan on-line & were approved at Landmark for up to 25,000 new or used. My husband called the creditors to confirm this & they set us up with an appointment to go to Landmark Chevrolet to purchase our new vehicle. We were instructed to see a man named Jonathan Win. When we pulled into the lot men came rushing up to us like a bunch of roaches...(No wonder they call it "LandShark Chevrolet"). We managed to get out of our vehicle only being 'attacked" by 3 salesmen before we made it inside the building. As soon as we entered the building we asked for Jonathan Win, who soon came to meet us.

We immediatly told him of our situation. (Low credit $25,000 approval, Baby on the way, etc) We told him what kind of car we were looking for & discussed the down payment issue. We told him that we didn't want to put any cash down, that we only wanted to use the truck as a trade in. Keep in mind he had never seen what we were driving, nor did he even know what kind of car it was.. except for the fact that it was a truck. He had told us that we would only need $1000 down & that we should get about $1500 for our truck, which sounded reasonable to me scince the kelly trade in value on out truck was about $2000.

We proceeded to look at vehicles that we were told were "do-able" But no matter how often I asked he would never give the sticker prices on the vehicles. After we decided on a certain Montana, we were told that it was in the process of being sold, that we should look at some 2003 demo unit's that he just so happened didn't know the price on, & come back the next day to close the deal.

We returned the next day, big mistake. Once again, keep in mind that Jonathan Win had never set eyes on what we were driving. As soon as we got there we were treated like trash. First he told us that instead of needing only $1000 down, that we had to come up with $2000 dollars down & kept asking us to write him a hold check & told us that it was ok if we wrote a hot check that we could pay it later, just to write him a check to make it look good for the bank. He kept insisting that no matter how much the truck appraised at that we would have to put some amount extra down.

He then told us that despite our $25000.00 approval, we could only get into a used cavileer or a similar car, & that they lie to you about the approval amount so that they can get you to come in. then he proceeded to "get an appraisal on our trade-in" He went outside without ever even knowing which car was ours. and came back in 2 minutes later with an instant appraisal of $600. How did he get an accurate appraisal that quick & especially scince he didn't even know which car was ours!!!

Since we knew the value of our trade in my husband said that he could go elswhere & get at least $1500.00 for the truck & then we were told to sell our truck on the market & give him the money & he would see what he could do about getting us in a car then. When my husband asked what's going to happen if we sell the truck & still can't get finaced for a car & are stuck without a vehicle, he just shrugged his shoulders like oh well, still all the time insisting on us giving him a hold check.

My husband decided to leave & told him that we would do business elswhere if he wasn't willing to help us & the man & his cocky attitude told us " I guarantee you that if we can't get you done here, then no one can!" Just to let you know I am now Driving a new car that is way better than anything on their lot & we got $1500.00 for our trade in...from a legitimate company that treated us with respect & didn't try to haggle us & rip us off.

My message to Jonathan Win. That could have been your commission, but now it went to someone who deserves it!
