Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I have never filed a report online about anyone, but I had such a terrible experience with this store that I felt it was absolutely necessary to warn the public about how this company conducts business.

Long story short. Do not even think about doing business with these guys. They are completely incompetent and lack any common sense, basic business sense, or professional courtesy.

Here is what happened. I had placed an order for a few pieces of furniture with Shawn (I don't think that is his real name, but that is what he goes by) and made substantial down payment in order for him to order and pick up the merchandise. After about a week, I made numerous attempts to contact the store to get a status on my order. Majority of the time, no one picks up the phone in the store nor there is a greeting on the answering machine to even assure you that you are calling the right place. After finally getting a hold of them, I was told that they have made an attempt to pick up my furniture, but apparently the warehouse they use could not locate it even though they showed a few available in the system. They did not have any idea when the inventory will be replenished. We proceeded to ordering similar pieces from a different manufacturer. After another week or so, and again many unanswered phone calls to the store, I was given another sad story how the manufacturer did not have any of the merchandise available even though they showed availability in the system. I later found out that when I provided them with a product number and asked numerous times to make sure that it included all of the original pieces (three in total) and was reassured that it did, no one even bothered to do that. Owner called me from Vegas, to inform me that they are working on fulfilling my order and I very insistently asked him to make sure that they are getting the complete set. He assured me that he would. Later he told me that he could not get me my stuff because he was not able to get all three pieces for the price he had originally quoted me. This tells me that he did not even bother calling his warehouse/store and asking someone to make sure that the new manufacturer packaged their furniture similarly.

Three weeks later and many more calls which were simply ignored, I finally and was assured that he will have my furniture in his store later that week. He confidently told me to come pick it up on Friday. So Friday I made a trip, which is almost 20 miles out of my way only to find that the store is closed and all the lights are off. Next day, called them again and demanded my money to be returned. They were very apologetic about last night, although did not provide any reasonable explanation about what happened. In order to save me another trip and calm me down, Shawn offered to simply make a deposit into my bank account for the money which was owed to me as a refund. I agreed.

After about a week and again numerous unanswered phone calls and text messages (he gave me his cell phone number) I decided to make another trip to his store and finally get my money back my self. I arrived at the store pretty upset after spending almost an hour in traffic. I was then informed by an employee of the store (not Shawn) that Shawn was somewhere down the street at another store. I found him sitting down there chatting with a buddy of his. He greeted me with a puzzled look on his face and asked me who I was. I told him that I was tired of his games and simply wanted to get my money and move on with my day. Sounds like a nobrainer right? This is where it got interesting. He started to fabricate more excuses on why they were not able to get my stuff and that he wanted to make it right for me. I insisted on getting my money and be compensated for my troubles. He proceeded to tell me that he did not have it that day and tried assuring me that he will have it for me in the next couple of days. Unbelievable. I told him that he will have to reimburse me or I would be forced to call the police, make a report. He did not flinch. He might be used to it.

I got up, went outside and called the local police department. After waiting outside his store for around 45 minutes for the police dispatch, which never came, Shawn called and then text messaged me that he had my money. He came out and applogized and told me that he wanted to make it up to me and deliver the furniture to my house for his cost (which by the way was substantially higher then the original price quoted). He showed me his catalogs with his cost and assured me that he would have it delivered to me by middle of next week. I agreed. We shook hands. I got my money and told them that I would pay him full price on delivery.

Furniture never came. No one ever called...what a nerve racking experience this has been.

Stay away from these guys!!!
