Complaint Review: Kwic Claim Medicor LLC c/o Andrew Rubin - Los Angeles California

I am actually one of the consumers that purchased the product in question. I am not someone who was lazy, nor did I not want to work. At the time I had 3 years in medical billing experience as well as a large amount of training with medicaid and medicare billing. I worked for a hospital and when placed on bedrest by my obstetrician, I needed an income since I was unable to go to work. I sent all the letters required, as well as contacted various physicians I had previously worked with. The fact is, I invested a lot of money into this product, postage, paper, envelopes, and ink. I even purchased a new computer to ensure that I would be able to handle a large work load. I didn't make a profit, but instead took a huge loss. I have no idea what will become of this situation. But I thought the owner might want to know, when I called with a complaint, and requested my money back, the response was "No".

Yes Medicor was closed by the Federal Trade Commission and yes Medicor had unhappy customers. What no one cars to mention is that the FTC complaint against Medicor was based on 12 of it's 65,000 customers that it had nationally. The other thing that people don't mention is that when people were instructed to find a physician to do their medicall billing for, which was told to them up front when they bought the program, they were not interested in that. The United States government split Microsoft in half based on their monopoly in the operating system software world. Medicor was the largest distributor of Medical Billing software in the United States and for this it was targeted by the Federal government. Again it is important for people to understand that when a company deals on a national level it is unavoidable that it is going to have unhappy customers. Medicor absolutely did. Medicor also had thousands of happy customers, that were willing to do their part, utilizing our formula, to succeed in a home based business. Lastly, for the record, Medicor had roughly an 8% refund rate during it's business tenure so any one who was asking for a refund that, that had a legitamate reason, other than, " I don't want to have to do any work" got their money back. And as for the person, Lesley in North Carolina, who mentioned they couldn't get their money back because they had opened the program. I suggest that they try opening a Microsoft program and try to return IT for a refund, it will never happen...I welcome any one to challenge whether or not Medicor delivered in every area of its represented services as well as any one to challenge the incredibly easy to use and functional software program it sold to consumers for alot less money than the other types of programs that are out there in the market place that don't work a fraction as well.

In late February, the FTC filed a complaint against Medicor LLC ("Medicor") and its owner, Andrew Rubin, charging them with misrepresenting their medical billing employment opportunities. A federal judge in Los Angeles subsequently issued a preliminary injunction against the defendants, froze their assets and appointed a receiver for the company.
