To: The Great Thorn, Thank you for your words of encouragement, unfortunately I have done all of things that you mentioned. Bruce Ertmann, Josh Batie and Vu Hoang didn't give a crap about my situation. The dealer just gets more and more puffed up with the backing that he has recieved from Toyota Corporate. The very serious issue that has come to mind is this: HOW COULD I HAVE MAINTAINED A CAR THAT I DID NOT OWN? I bought this car from a private party with maintenance records from the dealership, I thought that was as good as it could get. If Toyota is going to blame the owners then where does itstart and end? I UNKNOWINGLY BOUGHT THIS CAR WITH SLUDGE AND FOURS HOURS LATER HAD TO REPLACE THE ENGINE! If Toyota will not stand behind these vehicles then what will happen to resale values of these tainted engines? Why should we the customers have to take it in the shorts for their mistake? I have a 1998 Toyota Camry that is also a suspect, what will happen to the value when this problem gets out and more consumers find out about it? What do you have to say this Josh Batie and Bruce Ertmann?

Roxanne, You don't know who I am, But think of me as "The Great Thorn" OK? I have been reading Rip Off Reports on bad car dealers for a long time. Please understand what I am about to tell you is what I The Great Thorn Feel. I feel that you have been BENT OVER much like many other Toyota car buyers in the most recent past. First, I would keep this motto in mind. "If the dealer's employees lips are moving, they are most likly fibbing" As far as you knowing the mechanic, Keep this in mind. If you are in your comfort zone, you will get screwed. What I am saying is if you like or know employees at a car dealer, They will Rip you Off much faster because you are comfortable there and they know that you will keep comming back. Each time you come back to a place that you like doing business with, They will go deeper into your checking account because YOU Like and TRUST them. If you like them, it is much easier for them to BEND YOU OVER. This is why I tell car buyers to make sure that you buy from people that you do NOT LIKE. This helps you grind much harder for a better car deal because you do not care who you step on or piss off just as long as you get what you want. When I sold cars, I remember a manager telling me never sell to a friend or a family member unless you GO REAL DEEP. Because if they have a problem guess who they will come to. Even if it is your day off. they will call you to help them, so The salesmanagers always told the sales staff If you sell to a friend or a family member, GO BEND THEM OVER FOR EVERY PENNY. As far as SLUDGE IN THE CRANK CASE, try a well known search engine and type " Sludge in the Crank carse, Try Google.com If I were you, I would fax a copy of your Rip Off Report to the Toyota dealer that you bought your car from. Keith Pierson Toyota 6501 Youngerman Circle Jacksonville, FL 32244 Phone: (904) 771-9100 Fax: (904) 777-0651 I also would fax a copy to Toyota Motor Corp. This way Toyota Motor Corp also knows that this dealership has made the Rip Off Report. Toyota Motor Sales USA, Inc. Department H200 19001 S.
