 I was contacted on 4-26-2017 @ 10:32am by Katie Ewey ex 1313 from number 610-232-0700. Katie stated she had some "unclaimed" stock in my Aunts name. I advised her I was well aware of it and was taking care of it myself. I asked her to not call me anymore. I found several calls from this company over the past few months on my voicemail. I did not return them because I know they charge a large percentage to take care of this when I can do it free by myself. Katie of. Ewey at ext 1313 assured me that she would remove me from her list and mark the account closed. This was at 10:32am. Within the next 30 minutes this person proceeded to call my three cell phone numbers. All are on the do not call list. Now I am getting messages from my kids who are using these cell phones as their personal phones. They were at work and received a call from Katie Ewey stating information about my aunts lost stocks. This was AFTER I told her I was aware of it and taking care of it. From past experience this company tries to intimidate you letting you thing they now are holding onto the lost money but are willing to release it to you for a small fee.... like 30%. I know this because at one point I asked them to send me the paperwork until I found out I could do this myself. After calling back and trying to get a supervisor who's name is supposed to be Mark Protto for over an hour I refused to hang up until the receptionist gets me a live person. I finally spoke with Steve Lochnen. I recognized the voice as the person who left me several messages over the past few months. I told him I recognized his name as calling me before. He denied it saying sometimes other people call using his name as a reference??? What I didn't tell him is he has a very distinct voice and I recognized his voice before he gave me his name. Steve told me he would close the case just like Katie had promised earlier. I advised him what they were doing was considered phone harassment. I told him I was filing a complaint with the BBB ( Better Business Bureau) since their official website brags they have a good BBB rating.
