Just brakes just crooks taking advantage of customers for their hard earned money stockbridge, Georgia
I'm a father of four kids ages six through sixteen!! A true believer in God,so I see good in all people!! Long story made short,on 2/23/13 decided to get the brakes on my wife's car fix!! Not knowing I was coming down with the flu!! I stopped at just brakes in Stockbridge!! Still having faith in my fellow man,didn't feel they would take advantage of me!! Man was I wrong!! First they said my master cylinder was leaking,would cost 290 dollars to repair after waiting a hour for them to even touch the car!Tired and feeling dizzy,sick,I reluctantly said ok!! Then they called me in the back and said my back brakes wasn't working at all,they were leaking and my rotor ,disc,everything was all bad!!!! Then I was told how dangerous it would be to drive the car like that!! I was immediately in fear for me and my families safety!! So again I reluctantly said fix it,make it safe enough to drive!! The bill went from 290dollars to1250 dollars!!
Feeling uneasy about the whole situation and being uo with the flu about two that morning I decided to look just brakes up on theinternet!! I was horrified by the reviews I saw!! especially one buy a guy name James,a ex manager for just brakes who described everything I went through that day!! So I decided to look up the price of every part I paid for!! I found out they charged me three times the original price!!when I went back to ask why,they tried to say it was parts and labor bot the receipt had a different price for labor! Then I was told it was from the factory!! when i said that's not true It's from AutoZone because I saw the guy deliver it! They got upset with me ,so I ask how could you charge me 230dollars for a master cylinder that cost 55 dollars?? The sales lady said corporate office instructs them to do it!! I couldn't believe my ears!! Then the owner of the shop walks up and I ask is that legal,he said he could do whatever he pleases with regards to prices because it's his shop!! said he's in buisness to make a orofit!! Told me I should have fixed it myself!! Really had to think about my kids and all that God has brought me through because I would probably be in jail now!! I just walked away after telling him how I felt they took advantage if me,my kids,my family and how he was full of you know what!! But the bible does say put your faith only in God,man will let you down Everytime or in this case Robb you blind!! So please don't take your hard earned money to just brakes or should I say just crooks!
