Beware of "Just Brakes" want to help and bring it in and we will do what ever it takes to fix it. They will do all of this and for a mighty hefty price at that. I had taken in my vehicle to have a friction relign for just under a hundred bucks and to have them replace the rear axle seals that were causing the back brakes not to work. After their so called inspection they came to heaping sum of $900.00+ dollars to repair my vehicle. After a look at what they said I told them to only install new pads and shoes. They said they would not do my front brakes since I would not replace the front rotors and calipers. I told them all they had to do was turn them and grease the pins on the calipers and that they would be fine. But they insured me that they were the brake specialist and that to much metal was gone from the rotors. Well that wasn't true because I had them turned and they said at the Auto Parts Store that I would have to replace them after this time. But anyway back to my story about the crooks at Just Brakes. Well I did let them repair the rear seals and replace the one rear axle bearing which came to a whopping 400.00 + bucks. Now I am quite able to fix my own brakes and have done so many times in the past but wasn't able to this time because I was fixing to out of town. And my daughter needed to use the truck the following week. Also as I stood there they used the same sales tactic on three other individuals and stated prices over $700.00+ for each one of them. Boy let me tell you that when that Sales guy left the room I told those few that they would be better off getting a second opinion or to just make what repairs necessary and if it was that bad to go and buy there parts from someone else who is not trying to make 100% profit on parts. I did check the price and they were charging twice for them. So to all of those that are thinking of going into a place like this my advice would be to go to a reputable mechanic and stay away from these crooks. I 'm sure that some probably can go in and get just a friction relign but that would only be on a new car with low low mileage!!!
