PLEASE READ!! ELDER ABUSE!! BUYER BEWARE!! FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY!!

I HAD TO HIRE AN ATTOURNEY!! 

I am 80 years old and recently lost my husband who would have prevented the ELDER ABUSE I’ve endured with JIM BONE NISSAN OF SANTA ROSA.

My late husband and I had an SUV which was purchased from JIM BONE NISSAN and I took it in for service as I routinely have always done. They told me my SUV needed repair but did not give me a written estimate but said it would be around $2500. I had mentioned that I was thinking of maybe buying a smaller car and was introduced to a salesman who I was told would TAKE CARE OF ME. This man used HIGH PRESSURE SALES and talked me into buying a used convertible car which he told me would cost $26,000 (which I later learned was way over the blue book value) and the car ended up costing $42,000.

I was PROMPTED TO SIGN and check and not check boxes on the paperwork. They FALSELY SUBMITTED A CREDIT APPLICATION WHICH I DID NOT SIGN and they entered a FALSE INCOME STATEMENT of $3,000 which is A LIE. I live on a LIMITED INCOME, no where near that amount and they knew that. I did not learn about the FRAUDULENT LOAN APPLICATIONS until I started receiving bills in the mail and received a car loan approval from another bank.

A friend tried to call the salesman and tried to tell him I could not realistically afford the car and he was spoken to very aggressively and hung up on. My friend also found out that

JIM BONE SOLD MY SUV for $12,000 ($2000 over the blue book value).

JIM BONE told me there was no cooling off period because they PROMPTED me not to check that box on the contract, AND NOW WE ARE IN A LAWSUIT.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND JIM BONE CAR DEALERSHIP to ANYONE.  BE CAREFUL with JIM BONE dealership, PROTECT YOURSELF.

This has DAMAGED ME FINANCIALLY AND EMOTIONALLY. I am so embarrassed and wish my husband was still here because if he was, this never would have happened.
